This is probably the eighth pair of New Balances I've owned and the fifth NB Fresh Foam Roavs. I was so excited about the navy blue color that I had been looking for to add to the collection. I'm not exactly sure what's up with NB, but the last three pairs I've ordered have had to go back as they're just a little short and a little tight...same sizes as all the other Roavs, but definitely a disappointing fit. I order a 10.5 W and am a 10 in regular shoes - i like the extra room for a heavier sock if needed and my inserts. Possibly an 11W would work, but i have a feeling the length might be better but the width would still be tight. Still silly that i would have to go up a full size...think I'll pass and begin looking at other sneakers that also come in a wide width.

I didn't find these to be very comfortable. My heal kept slipping. I tried a gel insert, but still didn't help. I have a narrow foot, so it may just be me. I'm disappointed. I really like the way the shoe looks.

My daughter liked these, but the heel sits back in the shoe and is just odd and does not fit the heel/foot right.

Size up half a size. I'm a 7.5 and they were definitely too small for comfort.

The first time I ordered this shoe I received men's 8 which I returned. The second time I ordered black with blue. The shoes are blue not black. They feel very comfortable and I like that the tongue is connected to the shoe, however, there is not a hole for the shoelace in the same place as all the other NB sneakers I have been wearing for years and years.

Was very disappointed as these are my second pair. There is redundant material in the toe on one shoe which is very annoying and not really fixable. The other shoes toe was partly separated so I fixed that with superglue. Otherwise the shoes are super comfortable. Quality has taken a backseat maybe?

I like the shoes but they are tight for being a wide size. Not happy how they fit but it is all that I have at this time.

I guess I didn't realize that "bootie" meant no tongue or ability to adjust the shoe across the top of your foot. This type of shoe never fits my feet. Had to return. Generally, I love my New Balance shoes. I've had too many pairs to count. This is the first time I had an issue.

I purchased the Olive Green Colorway. They are not olive like the in the picture. They are a lighter shade of green. The shoe is very comfortable and true to size. Just wish they looked like the picture.

The New Balance tag on the front, under the bottom lace, scrunches up when the laces are drawn tighter. As a person with a narrow foot, I didn't like this look.

These shoes were a little snug for me, but also I felt that they had a slight inward slant that was very uncomfortable. Bummer because I loved this color combination.

My son loves New Balances this particular style runs small. He is a size 11/11-1/2 and he needs to get a size 12. I had to return the pair I got for him.

True to size. The stretchy laces don't stay tied well. But I could walk in them all day!

After walking around in them for a bit, I decided to keep them. Then after a few hours of wearing them, the side of the shoe started biting into my left heel. The image on the website shows that the back molded part has ridges (even on the inside). One of these ridges must be too big because it's continuously biting into my heel. Clearly a flaw in the design. Would return if I could. Feel like I wasted my money during a time of inflation where costs are already high enough as it is. I don't have foot issues, nor have I had issues with previous shoes in the same size, so I'm sure this is a design flaw.

These are my work shoes, I work in a warehouse setting 40 hours a week. They are decently comfortable and keep my feet/legs from getting tired throughout the day. My only issues is that #1 the laces do not stay tied and #2 the laces are so long I have to tuck them back into the tops of the shoes. It drives me insane, I'm constantly retying them. Other than those 2 things I really enjoy these!

I love these shoes and am going to purchase a replacement. I had to send them back because the first time I wore them, they got a hole in the fabric on top. I wore them to church and we didn't do anything crazy. No sure how it happened but hoping the replacement pair has better luck.

Shoes seem to run quite big. Very comfy though, and bouncy.

Purchased these for work shoes. My go-to brand for work shoes is New Balance. I am an RN who is on my feet majority of my shift. By the end of the day, on the first two days of wearing, my right foot was tingling, achy and sore (even in a wide width). Wore them the rest of the week to give a fair chance. Nope, I either have to invest in new insoles or send them back. Love the look and colors, but don't love the fixed tongue or how difficult the shoes were to get on over my medium arch - felt like a shoehorn was needed. I received several compliments from patients and co-workers but they just are not working for me.
I'd also recommend:

I bought several pairs of these shoes. I did this because the first pair I bought fit great, then I ordered more while the price was reduced. The toe box was more narrow on one shoe and not the other shoe. Very inconsistent. I finally took the NB insole out and subbed with a half insole and that made the tow box much better. Getting these shoes on is difficult. I didn't have a shoe horn so used a large plastic kitchen spoon which helped the shoes to slide on so easy.
NB needs to be more consistent in size, width and length.

This sneaker does not have a tongue. The top side is all one piece which is not mentioned. I wear orthotics and getting them in the shoe is very difficult because of not having a tongue. This should have been somewhere in the description.

This is the second pair of Roavs for me. The last pair I had was a size 10 and fit perfectly. This time the shoes are shorter. I ordered them online and did not try them on. I won't make that mistake again.
