Was disappointed. Have bought this shoe in different color and didn't have this issue but these just looked poorly made and not brand new off the shelf quality. Sent them back for a refund.

Visually this shoe is beautiful but upon its arrival I found it difficult to get on and not as cushy as advertised. Size ran very small. Returned

My heel does not fit comfortably into the solid heel form of this design; it tends to move forward with each step and thus slips up and down. I normally wear a 7 1/2 in almost all of my shoes but this 7 1/2 runs short for me.

So these look amazing and honestly every pair of NB I've ever owned I have loved. While they feel so comfortable on my feet and look so good, as soon as I take them off, my feet hurt for days after wearing them? It's a total bummer :( I will probably give these away to someone in need and hopefully they won't have feet pain.

Like many of the other reviews on here I punched a toe hole in then after less than 2 month of wear. I liked the first pair so much I bought 2 others before I had the toe issue. Of the 3 pair I have, 2 have already been trashed.

I used these as daily use and immediately felt like the toe box was going to fall apart. Afyer about 1 week I thought they loosened up so bad that my toes were pushing the mesh out and my toes were hanging over the sole. Turns out, the insole was sliding up the heel so bad my toes were just hanging over the front of the in sole. These shoes are honestly some of the worst ive owned. Ill get some 574s for the gym if 11.5s ever come in stock. These are a huge no for me.

I liked these shoes so much I bought 3 pairs in short order only to have my toe rub a hole in them within a few months. Coworker had the same issue. Don't bother with this shoe. 2 of 3 pairs I bought are already in the trash.

Not sure why the difference but not meant for wearing often. My right foot began throbbing and was hurting.

Have had shoes less than 3 months and a shoe lace loop just broke. Now they are no longer useful.

This is a general wear shoe. There are only 4 lace loop holes so the laces do not lace up to support the ankle! I returned them.

I'm guessing the shipped a pair that someone else returned because they smelled like feet when they arrived and the sole had some wear. I'm not sure I would shop Zappos again.

Not recommended. Bought these as a semi-economical, short-term, disposable walking shoe, but as with so many things in life, cheap becomes expensive. Poor design--the lace loop (instead of an eyelet) has broken after <2 months of use, so the shoe fits looser now. The cushioning would also be inadequate as a running shoe. They look fine, for what they are. Again, not recommended.

I tried to order these in extra wide, but for whatever reason I received them in 2E. Please do not advertise items as something they are not. There are two reasons that I purchase New Balance shoes: They are made in the USA; and NB is the only maker of athletic type shoes in extra wide (i.e. 4W).

I wanted to love these shoes. They look great, but unfortunately the quality of their construction is just very poor. It's surprising because I've owned many pairs of New Balances before and never had the type of issues I've had with these.
Within a month, these shoes started to fall apart. Holes started to form in the textile/mesh upper and the soles started to delaminate. It's been 6 months since I purchased them and it's time to throw them out. They're falling apart. I've never owned a shoe before that lasted for so little time.
The only way I could recommend these is if you're solely using them for running and plan to take them on and off at the track, i.e. not even wearing them when you leave the house to go the track or return, only at the track itself. I wouldn't recommend wearing them on concrete either. They're just too delicate to handle even minor wear and tear.
Also, be sure to securely tie them every time you put them on. These are not a shoe you can just slip on and off. If you don't, you're definitely going to develop calluses on your heal because of the rubbing.

I like the shoes however, the last four pairs of shoe I have purchased from new balance I have diffently notice that the quality is now what I am use to from the company. They all wear through at the big toe. I have purchased New Balance for the last 30 years exclusively and Thea will be the last ones I purchase

This is a great shoe, it offers superb cushioning to the sole of the foot, is very light on the foot, and comes in super cool color schemes !
But,
I'm a 9.5 xtrawide , the widest shoe width offered is 2e, I tried em' they to tight so instead of returning them I was able to stretch them out enough so they no longer squeeze feet as tight. Super good shoe, keep in mind the width.

I tryed these because I have a very wide foot and a previous review said it worked for them. My foot felt like it was being squeezed to death. Also the amount of support I like was lacking

Good shoe as long as you are running on FLAT terrain. I purchased them for my job which requires me to travel over very uneven, hilly surfaces and this shoe offers zero support if your foot should tilt. Didn’t want to risk a sprained ankle so these were not for me.

Bought these for my son - they look great and he loves them, but after wearing them for a month, the top loops that hold the laces have frayed and come loose from the shoe. I hope I can return them somehow.

These lasted 3 months before running holes in the inserts and runs in the fabric tops of the shoes. Love the look and very comfortable but not a good value
