The description puts: Quarter strap with adjustable buckle closure. Mine came with very lame velcro closure. I love the design and how it looks but the velcro keeps getting loose with every step. I mean it has less than two inches of velcro instead of a solid buckle closure. I feel very disappointed, you would expect more quality for $135+.

I absolutely love these shoes! And contrary to the other reviewers negative comments regarding the Velcro straps, I love that the straps are Velcro - it makes them a million times easier to put on and take off! The footbed is the MOST comfortable I’ve had in a stylish shoe like this, and the straps are not uncomfortable at all! The leather straps are high quality and I love the mustard yellow color that I bought. A coworker was raving about the comfort of hers, so I tried hers on and I was sold immediately. I’m the manager of a winery and on my feet 8-10+ hours a day, and these have been the solution for my tired, aching feet!!

The best looking comfort sandal that I have seen this year, love the looks of this shoe, ordered in 2 colors, however I am returning. Josef Seibel size chart states Euro 36 size 6 US, I wear a size 6 and this shoe was more like a size 5 or 5.5. The strap across toe area is too wide, on both pair, neither the box or the inside of shoe indicate a width of shoe. Actually the ankle straps set out on sides of shoe which does not make the shoe fit properly. If these shoes was sized correctly it would be my favorites for summer.

I just wanted to update my review since I bought these in May. I still absolutely LOVE these sandals as they are so cute and comfortable (I have the mint color). I noticed people had complained about the velcro closure. The velcro started loosening up on me too, and wasn't holding the sandal securely. However, I took them to a cobbler who told me he would move the buckle to where a buckle would normally be so that I would no longer be using the velcro (which is how I wish the sandal had been made). Perfect!! And it only cost $10. Now they are completely secure !

I have these in the mint color and love them! They are extremely comfortable and super cute! I do wish the velcro were a little longer (or just had regular closure with the buckle), but I have no problems with them as some of the other reviewers had.

Cute sandals! The front was too wide for me.

Beautiful sandal, made well. However, runs very large. I wear a size 5 1/2 & the Euro sizing did not work for me since they do not offer anything smaller than Euro 5 -5 1/2which felt more like a US size 6. Disappointed.

These shoes are almost too good to be true! The brushed leather insole is so soft and comfortable I forget I'm wearing platforms. They feel amazing on and I can wear them all day without discomfort, or very minor discomfort (if I'm walking a ton-but I have plantar fasciitis so minimal discomfort is pretty great for me). Huge huge plus that they don't look like grandma shoes! That's really hard to come by when looking for something supportive for my foot problems. I wish they were still in stock in other colors please bring them back zappos!!

These fit great! They are comfortable - and adorable. I ordered a 9 and they were true to size. I ordered the blue - and they are super cute and versatile.

The front is a little loose, but overall they are very comfortable.

I really like these sandals but they are not for women with narrow feet! The straps over my toes are loose and there is barely 1/8" of velcro overlap on the ankle strap (much easier when sandals have actual buckles...then you can just have a cobbler punch another hole or two). I'm really bummed that they don't fit because the quality is excellent and the style is very cute!

The shoe fit and wasn’t uncomfortable. The way the shoe rocked when walking was unusual. I returned them because I couldn’t justify the price with how many times I thought I would wear them.

Loved the look of these and the length was perfect. My only problem with them was the toe band was too big and I didn't have enough Velcro to get them tight enough at the buckle area. Returning them.....

Contrary to other reviews, I love the Velcro straps— it makes putting on and taking off so easy. Great shoes, I wear them daily in the summer! The toe loop is a little loose on me, remedied by taking the ankle strap a bit tighter.

I searched for these sandals with a buckle but it was a fake buckle—only Velcro closure. A bit troublesome but worth it for the comfort.

Love these! So cute, so comfy! Lots of compliments too. Others comments about the toe box - not an issue for me. Would buy in blue if they had stock in my size.

The size and fit are perfect. I bought the size recommended by Zappos. These shoes are comfy even though I have a bunion. The leather is supple. I highly recommend these shoes.
