Virtually little to no arch support. This shoe is ok but for my purposes, I needed some padding on the sole and there was really not much, if any. The shoe ran smaller in the depth of the toe area than other J. Seibels I wear.

Could only order 7-7.5. I wear a 6.5 and wanted a 7 to wear with heavy socks. It was way too big. There were no in between sizes

I like style and softness of the shoe, but I need way better cusioning and arch support. I really wanted to like these, but I knew that they would not be a good all day walking shoe.

I love the look of these but they did hurt my feet after wearing for a bit. Had to send them back. Hated that they didn't work out.

I’ve had these shoes for several months and have yet to find them comfortable to wear. The leather is very stiff and unforgiving. I’ve worn several different brands of shoes and I’ve never had an issue. I’m so disappointed because I like the style. Very disappointed in these shoes especially for what I paid. I will probably donate them.

Sizing seems off. Beautiful product but due to sizing, am returning.

I bought this as a replacement for the Caspian model which I have loved for many years, and have re-purchased many times. This is NOT a replacement. The shoe fits very differently, even though it initially looks the same. The foot is much wider, especially the front part of the shoe. This make it far less comfortable and makes the top break differently. It also looks a bit goofy, especially if you have normal or narrow feet. Please Joseph Siebel... bring back thee Caspian!

too small in the toe area to wear a light weight sock. loved the style but have to return.

I love this shoe - great-looking & well-made! However, the European size 39 is too small and size 40 is too large.

Love Josef Siebel, great quality for the price. This pair felt a little wide but it’s a lace up so it still fit well.

I ordered these to replace the ones I ruined on safari. I love the fit and level of support and comfort of these! I've tried at least 10 other brands and styles, and I always come back to these. I also have them in navy blue.

I love these shoes, the style, quality of leather, comfort and construction. I have long, flat, narrow feet which these shoes worked for. But I have trouble with European shoes in the depth of the toe box. I really wanted to keep these but felt they were pressing on the top of my big toe.

Super cute, super comfy. I got the metallic silver color and I’m so pleased about how versatile they are—they work really well as an elevated neutral! I’m a very solid 8.5 with a bit of a wider foot, so I initially ordered a 39, but I found them to be too big in the toe box and around the ankle. I exchanged for a 38 and they fit like a glove, like they were made for my feet. I also need arch support and these fit the bill without looking orthopedic. I’m looking forward to wearing them on a few upcoming trips that promise to require a lot of walking and standing. I might get them in white too!

I was looking for an upgrade from sneakers, and thought these shoes looked terrific. Checked with friends who owned them. They loved them for the support and great styling. I’m now a big fan.

Everything about the shoe itself is terrific - nice fit, bounce, look, etc...however, I am returning this particular pair because there is a defect in the way the tongue of the right shoe is sewn in - it is askew and does not lie flat against the top of the foot properly and slips off to the side when walking.

I already received a pair

These are beautiful quality shoes but for me, they gap on either side. I also need more cushion in the sole. It's the fault of my feet.

The Caren 01 shoes fit me perfectly. I can wear them all day right out of the box, with out any “breaking in”! They feel super soft inside. The outside leather is glove like. I love wearing them!

Shoe feels soft yet supportive. Love the style. It is universal and goes with everything, stylish yet comfortable.

I have 2 pair of same shoe in black. This time I ordered white. I am picky about how shoes feel on my feet. I really like these. I tried a different brand first but returned them. Very satisfied with these.

The Josef Seibel Caren 01 fit perfect, they feel like slippers almost, the leather is good quality and not real stiff like some other leather tennis shoes I've purchased in the past. I purchased my first pair of Josef Seibel oxfords last year and feel in love with the quality and fit. I like when a shoe looks like I've worn it for a while and that's how JS shoes are for me.

I was trying to replace an older version of this style and color also from Josef Seibel. Unfortunately, the new version has stitch lines that lie directly over a bunion and very quickly irritates the area. Other than that, this is such a great shoe. Back to the hunt for me, as the color works so well for me.
