Great shoes, my family loves them very much, they wear well and look good.

These shoes are the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned.

Support is very awesome, my back loves you. I had to replace the white shoelaces with dark gray laces before I would wear them. That should be an option for buyers or just throw a free set in. I wish "USA" was in black on the back part of the shoe in place of the "V" rather than the hard plastic flag glued on to the tongue. Shoe is a little heavy, but I will get used to it and it's also rigid which I'm sure will go away as I break them in. Overall: Great Shoe!

New Balance made in the USA shoes are very comfortable and extremely durable. I have bought nothing else for years.

I bought an additional pair so now I have one for good wear and one for everyday wear.

This is the only shoe on Earth that fits my feet and survives my almost daily tennis escapades on court. It is of the highest quality and worth every penny to never have sore feet. HOWEVER, please please please , could you phase out the masculine color line and phase in feminine color line? White/ cream/ off-white would be especially appreciated for tennis. I don't always wear white clothes in tennis, and without white shoes, tennis tradition is out the window. Traditions may or may not be worth keeping, but wearing whites for tennis is worth hanging onto. The creators of the game demand whites at Wimbledon. Keeps us cool when sweat is stinging your eyes. Let's hear it for white 990v5's!!!!!

I have been wearing New Balance sneakers for almost two decades. I have a size 10.5 EE Women's foot and need the extra extra width for my left foot. My only concern is that the mesh can wear out too soon with protuding big toenail. I will never wear another shoe. I switch off with my Vionic sandals that have built-in arches and I use an 8mm lift heel that my cobbler inserted under heel so that I don't have to glue it as it constantly moves around. I am a happy walker now knowing that I have a reliable go-to shoe and it's ALL AMERICAN PRODUCT, YIPEE YEAH:)) PS: While I wish that the left shoe had a tad more extra width, I could always have the cobbler stretch it; but after walking now and not lacing too tight, it's a WINNER!!!

I've been wearing New Balance shoes for a long time. The size and width are consistent, so I can buy them on line without worrying. When I worked I was on my feet for long periods often standing in one place, so I needed comfortable, supportive shoes. I also like that they're made here in the US. I wish more styles made here were available.

I do not have anything to say negative about the shoes. I love 990 series and buy them at any occasion for anyone in my family.

I saw these shoes listed on best shoes for heel pain and I've tried so many cheaper options that I finally just told myself the money had to be worth it. And they really are. From literally day one, I have had absolutely no pain in my feet. I am on my feet 10-12 hours a day straight. Best shoes I've ever worn.

Great fit, comfortable for walking, good support. I get a long wear from this sneaker. It makes for a great value.

Needed more support for my heels and arches so I ordered these and my feet are so comfortable and my heels/arches feel well supported for running, biking, training at the gym.

These shoes go with everything! Love wearing them when I run errands. I'm a size 6 and ordered them in 5.5 definitely recommend sizing half size down

I'd love to wear 990v5. This is my second one, got grey and black, will buy navy soon.
