My wife walks about three miles a day on a treadmill. She wore out her previous New Balance shoes over a period of about eight years. For her I bought the 990v5's in grey and the same size 7D (wide) as her old New Balance shoes on line. They came very quickly and fit her perfectly. She was delighted with the way they look and feel on her feet. She immediately began using them the day they arrived on our treadmill. She said they provide great stability and she loves the cushioning too. Thanks New Balance for the quick service, making quality shoes, and for making them in the USA.

I have narrow feet and wear orthotics, so I have a terrible time finding athletic shoes. This is my second pair of this shoe. The first pair has worn out after MANY miles of happy wear. I look forward to wearing out this new pair!!

C'est ma deuxime paire, je n'achte que des runing shoes new balance. J,ai les pieds large cause des oignons et je suis trs confortable dans ces souliers l. J'ai des orthses et c'est parfait. Je n'ai jamais mal aux pieds. C'est rare qu'on a autant de choix de largeur de souliers. Trs satisfaite!

Now either my go-to-shoe or my shoe for those occasions I'd prefer looking simple but at my best. I like the quality of the product. Initially, the Size 7 Wide I ordered was significantly larger that I needed to order a 6.5 Standard width. Noticed that the shoe required break in time. After a few times wearing them, the 3rd time was when I felt that the shoe softened up. This is my first time with the 990s so it's difficult to find a comparison and wouldn't compare it with previous versions. Will I buy again if it comes out with a v6. Will possibly do so! Time can only tell durability-wise.

My feet are SO happy. They are totally comfortable and I can wear them all day everyday. I wore my last pair out cuz I wore them everyday for two years (Pandemic) so I treated myself to a new pair and they're worth every penny.

I ordered first pair of shoes and they were too narrow. I requested the return order and shipped them back and ordered new shoes in correct width. They have arrived and I am pleased with the shoes and the return process. New Balance is easy to work with and customer oriented, I will be a returning customer.

They fit beautifully and I have a 1 inch lift I put in my shoe to lift my right side to match height with my left. I bought longer shoe laces because the lift makes the shoe lace on my right side too short. I love New Balance. I do full side planks and these shoes support me beautifully with no pain my feet when doing the side planks. I'm 71 and trying to keep healthy.

This is either my 4th or 5th pair, while I have not had a chance to try them out, I have little doubt the will be as comfortable as my other pairs currently and past. I was disappointed the grey was not available in my size, hopefully it will be in the future.the Navy blue is very nice looking as well.

I am pleased to find these online directly from the manufacturer. I had been buying 990v Made in USA for the past 6 to 8 years and could no longer find a store that stocked them, nor could I find a store that could order them in my size. The 990v5 is just as superb as its predecessor, and I love that they are made in USA. I will continue to buy these as long as New Balance makes them; no other athletic shoe is as comfortable or made as well.

Very very comfortable nice and awesome looking shoes, still. I purchased the blue one this time. I got the grey the 1st one. Order half size down. Love love love. Highly highly recommended.

I am very happy with these NB shoes. I have been wearing NB for years. These shoes are very comfortable and provide just the right amount of cushioning. My only negative comment is that the shoes are very expensive. If I wasn't totally happy with them, I would have returned them.

I love these tennis shoes. Not only are they made in the US, which I care deeply about, they are also super supportive and comfortable! I use them for long walks and cardio dance classes and they work great for both!

I ordered a size 11.5 and a size 12 and am keeping both pairs. I really am a size 12 but expect the 11.5 to stretch a bit. One feels a bit more snug than the other but there is very little difference and I was going to order a backup pair anyway. Hey, they are made in the USA! I did not realize that when I ordered. As far as fit, the heels are snug - that is, narrow enough - which is rare for a larger women's size. It seems that manufacturers pretty much just sub a men's shoe for these larger sizes, but NB has always had shoes truly proportioned for a women's narrower foot, with heels that hug nicely. I am not a runner, but wear the higher end NB shoes for comfort and support, and these fit the bill for me. Real quality manufacturing, as least in the 2 pairs I purchased. No sloppy glue, no rogue threads, and the laces are appropriately long. A very classic look in color and style.
