I use my new 990v5 Core's for my morning walks....they are not only stylish, they are by far the most comfortable walking shoes I have ever worn.
I would recommend them unconditionally.

I love the New Balance Model 990V5. I am now on my third pair of this shoe. I soon will order another pair. Other than New Balance running and training shoes, all my other shoes are typically recraftable shoes (Allen Edmonds, Alden, Church's, Crockett and Jones, John Lobb). I only will buy New Balance shoes for exercise and mostly Sperry shoes for sailing (excluding Dubarry and John Lobb sailing shoes, which are recraftable).
My podiatrist recommends New Balance as the only shoes for exercise purposes and starting with Allen Edmonds or Lucchese for dress shoes or boots, respectively.
I'd also recommend:
for exercise, only New Balance, for sailing; Dubarry, John Lobb, or Sperry

This is a great show. I have problems with my feet not dealing with diabetic's. The 990v5 is so comfortable that this pair is my second 990v5 series shoe. I will look for another pair when it's time.

These shoes are super supportive and comfortable. I wear them all day on hardwood floors and my feet feel better than ever.
They are also nicer looking than you would think from the pictures. I highly recommend.

This shoe is absolutely the best quality sneaker I have ever owned. This is my third pair. The support and comfort are superior to any other I have ever owned and they last a long time too. Please bring back the black/black color. It was my favorite.

I never had a pair of New Balance shoes before this pair. I saw a review about them and decided to give New Balance a try. I love these shoes. For me they have just the right blend of cushion and support. I also like the style and the color I selected. These are my new daily favorites.

My brother wears a 4E and needed a new pair of shoes as his old pair had completely fallen apart. Ordered him a pair online and they were delivered in less than 3 days. He says the fit, style and feel of them is outstanding. Highly recommend for anyone with larger feet! They are pricy but worked out perfectly!

Bought both a gray and a beige 990 V several years ago. Went back to my new balance store to replace both and found out you no longer make the beige color. Bought a new gray pair but really disappointed not to have a new beige pair to wear with my khakis or beige cargo shorts.

I have used the 990 series shoe since V2 without issue. The wider toe box works great for my wide feet and the shoe holds up under the stress I put it through. I buy multiple pairs each purchase since I know this shoe does the job better than other brands I have tried.

I have always worn New Balance 990 model shoe. This 990 V5 takes the shoe to a new level. Very comfortable, supportive and nice looking. I will definitely purchase another pair.

These are my go-to as a wide footed guy. Comfortable out of the box, ready to rumble. I order a new pair every few years. I get them in black because they hide dirt, grease, oil, etc, and look new for a long time.
