These are wonderful shoes. I made a point of getting the exact same shoe again because of my excellent experience with the last one.

I've been having hip pain and these shoes are a game changer! They are so comfortable for long walks - I used to be sore after even a km or two and now I can walk all day pain free. The price tag is definitely steep but they were totally worth it. I think I might buy another pair because they are all I wear now

I HAD TO SEND A PAIR OF NEW BALANCE BACK AS THEY WERE SO CHEAPLY MADE. I LIKE THE 990V5'S THE ARE CLOSE TO THE 993'S THAT HAVE WORN FOR YEARS. I WISH I COULD GET A PAIR OF THEM. THE 990V5 ARE GOOD. I REALLY LIKE THEM. THE PRICE IS HIGH, BUT THEY ARE MADE IN AMERICAN.

For all of my 70+ years of adult life, NB has always been my go-to brand of shoe especially for running and weight training. I haven't seen anything advertised that would be better for my lifestyle.

Size is true. Very comfortable to wear. I like these shoes.

Have worn 990's for years . I made a typo on my order but was told it could not be corrected or canceled . Wound up chasing the package for three days. If not for a heads up UPS person it was lost. How ignorant is it to not let a customer correct a mistake ?

This is the third pair of sneakers we have purchased It is hard to fine 4E wide shoes that fit. They hold up to daily wear. Comfortable.

This is the second pair of Men's New Balance 990v5 shoes. They fit perfectly and the most comfortable shoe that I have ever owned. I use the shoe to workout and for everyday use. Thank you L.L. Bean.

I was pleased to be able to find a quality pair of Tennis Shoes made in the USA. I'm pleased with the quality and comfort of the shoe. Now I would like New Balance to consider making some type of slip-on Mocs also made in the USA.

Online purchase. Know your foot width - I just started paying close attention to this. My daughter worked for New Balance in L.A. for about a year. She always told me about their quality shoes in casual conversation. I believe she told me back then to get a pair....... My couple NB shoe purchases were average. I should've listened to her then. These shoes are the most comfortable pair of tennis shoes I think I have ever purchased and put on my feet. I have issues with high arches, fasciitis AND a deformed Lisfranc joint. I should've taken her advice sooner. I will check back... I have only been wearing them for 90 minutes - time will tell!

Please don't ever discontinue this sneaker ! My husband has very high arches and very sensitive tops of his toes We have been buying this sneaker for over 15 yrs The only one he will wear It is comfortable, stylish and lasts forever!

Outstanding shoe, the best support, supreme comfort! The 990V5 is my main walking shoe. I started with 990V4 and converted as soon as the 990V5 became available. Nothing negative to report.

Now that I'm older it seems that most shoes and boots in a D width are fitting me a little narrow especially on my left foot regardless of the brand including New Balance and that's the size I've always worn but with this recent order New Balance tennis shoes the fit feels perfect on both left and right in width and length. Love the style and the color. This is my first pair of tennis shoe that I've ever owned that are black. Considering the same shoe in Navy/Silver

3rd pair of v990's i've purchased. Most comfortable pair of shoes i've ever owned.

My husband and son both have worn these shoes for years. They are the best.

Stop buying $80-90 NB shows. They are nice, but aren't worth it. If you wqant a well put together shgoe that fits like a glove for your feet, this is the show. It is a throwback to the NB older and better styules. Well worth the extra cash.
