I recently got into New Balance just this year and it is slowly taking over my collection. I only ever owned Nike and Adidas, but since adding New Balances to my collection, all I've been wanting to purchase are New Balances! The 990v5 in particular is amazing. My most worn pair of 2020. I went a half size down from my TTS and they fit perfect.

I require custom orthotic insoles, and there are less and less models of shoes that fit them every year. The 990 is basically the only running shoe I can wear anymore. Luckily I love them! However, I do wish there was a more lightweight option that worked with orthotics...

I have been purchasing New Balance for years, the quality is the very good and they last. The main reason is Made In America, I will pay double for that ,,, Please New Balance do not stop making these in the States and Bring more manufacturing to America.

These are very comfortable and look sharp and of course I would expect nothing less from something endorsed by the best NBA player on the planet Kawhi Leonard.

This is the most comfortable daily-life sneaker I have ever owned, and now I know why they have such a following. I decided I wanted to buy AMERICAN-MADE, despite the premium cost. I can only hope that New Balance will move more production to the USA. Please, let's support American workers, American companies. and American desig and innovation. When America is strong, we are best able to help the rest of the world who don't have our blessings.

Super comfortable shoes. I wear them to work, walking, leisure, and likely everything else to come.

On average, I walk more than 4 miles/day. The 990v5 gives excellent support and is comfortable every step of the way.

My husband is 6'1", 225lbs with a wide foot and high arch. He wears size 11 4E. He walks 5 miles a day and this shoe keeps his feet from sliding forward and supports his arches. He's kind of a celebrity in our little community as he is 73 years old and over the last 2 years, has lost 150lbs. He's been wearing NB shoes since he started walking and losing weight. This NB shoe is well made and one of the few athletic shoes that come in wide and extra wide sizes.

As someone who walks 6-7 miles a day, the arch support provides by these shoes makes a huge difference.

Own quite a few pairs of made in usa NBs, and these have to be my favorite. The comfort is next-level and they go with pretty much any outfit.

I'm an older guy who is on my feet all day. I was looking for comfort and found it.

The 990v5v is the only shoe I wear. I have about 8 pair. Every year I get new ones. I just wish that they added a few different colors to select from. But, I would not wear any other shoe and I've tried lots of others. Nothing compares with the 990v5.

A well made, comfortable shoe, that i can see lasting for a long time. It has a solid construction, and is made locally. i will continue to buy the new versions of this style as it comes out.

I am 72 and have a bad hip. I needed a shoe for walking that would be kind to my hip. My first pair worked so well and helped so much, that even though I live on a restricted income and normally shop thrift shores for my clothes, I invested in these shoes again. I wore my first pair almost non-stop for over 3 years, walking up to four miles several times a week, and sometimes as much as seven miles. I wore them for work projects, I wore them in dirt as wet grass, often without socks. However, the clincher for buying them again was the fact that I step into my shoes. I leave them loosely laced up to the next to last hole. In three years of constant stepping in and out of those shoes, the shoes still fit snug to my feet and the heel tops have never broken or shredded. I was watching for that if those heel tops had worn out, it would have been a deal breaker. It appears that so far New Balance has not sold out on quality as most other brands of goods have done. Now that I have the new shoes, I use the old ones for extra dirty jobs and throw them in the washer. They come out fine. Wow. My new pair? I don't have the nerve to throw them in the washer; I just try to keep them clean. But other than that, I'm wearing them the same way as I did the old ones, and so far they are living up to my expectations.

I am on my sixth pair of 990 shoes. I run six miles four time a week. I had tendinitis in my knees from playing 15 years of full court basketball but after wearing 990's my knees returned to full health. I am 63 now and feel like I am 30 even after running 6 miles. The only time I do not have these shoes on is when I am wearing formal wear. Great quality from an American made shoe. I highly recommend 990's to all my family and friends.
