I love the shoes but the size I ordered( 8M) were too big !

Shoes run too wide. Slip resistant bottoms are slippery. I would return but already threw packing away

There is not enough cushion for a walking shoe so I added a thicker inserts. I also needed more arch support. I am 72 years old and I needed a more comfortable shoe. My older Rockport shoes were DMX walking shoes, which I loved.

Like many other reviewers have said it seems a tad bit loose. I wear size 9 and this seems like must be 9.5 or even a 10. They are ok for short walks over absolute flat path but if there's any bit of elevation change you will notice your feet slide forward or backward. The cushioning does not last. I had to toss the insert's and put my Orthotic insert's eventually to maintain the cushioning support I needed.

I have been, almost exclusively, been a Rockport shoe purchaser for the last 20 or 30 years. This pair is NOT the same as what I have received in the past. The shoes are supposed to be regular, and they are wider The soles are stiffer, and slippery on my home wood floors.

This is my first "not-so-good" experience, with a Rockport product. I've worn Rockports, in a variety of styles for 20+ years. This time around, I purchased two pairs of shoes... * Eureka Plus Mudguard Sneaker * 7100 Plus ProWalker The former has an uncomfortable area, where it laces-up at the top, on the right-side shoe. Since they've been worn three times (on pavement), I cannot return them. I haven't even tried. I'm hoping they will just "break in", and the pain will stop. The latter pair is fine (just like all of my other Rockport shoes have been)

The shoes were not as supportive to my feet as ones that I purchased in the past. The sole is too soft.

Shoes were not comfortable at first. Have walked about 30 miles in shoes and fit is still no right. A little narrow and to long for 9 1/2 W size. Have bought Rockport's for years and they were always a perfect fit. I buy hiking shoes from another manufacturer that always are the right fit. Will not buy online again since I will need to find a store to try shoes on.

The shoe is okay, I have had Rockport's for over 20 years. I can not get in touch with Customer Service since my last purchase which is a size too big. I have Emailed twice no answer and the phone # will not go through. I will probably lose any chance of returning my purchase because they will no answer me within the 30 days to return. This will be my first failure and disappointment with Rockport.

I have worn Rockport shoes like these for the past 20 to 30 years. I used to buy 2 pair every 6 months for work. These recent 2 I cannot wear. There is something wrong with the design or the materials used in the heel cup. After 10 minutes in these shoes I could not walk without serious pain on the sides of my heels. The heel cups are very narrow and stiffer than any rockports I have ever owned. Seems like the heel cup is some kind of plastic behind the leather and its half the width of my heel. Dont waste your money.

Far from the comfort I expected, . Sizing seems way big

The shoe size was much larger than any 13Wide I have purchased and they were too big for my feet. I have returned these shoes.

Unfortunately, these didn't fit as well as other Rockports I've gotten in the past. After 2 hours of wear, the left one started to dig into my heel with each step, and by the time I got home after 8 hours of work, the back of my heel was cut up. So I'm going to end up having to return them. It's unfortunate, because the right one fit perfectly, so there's very little margin of error with the size I guess, as in less than the natural difference between a person's two feet.

I bought these for my son who is a waiter. I have purchased shoes in the past and know how comfortable they are. My son asked me if these were skates because he was sliding all over the place.

The Rockport canceled my order, don't you know that? This is a stupid business.

I've been wearing this style of Rockports for decades. The quality has gone down. I didn't notice there were now only four sets of eyelets instead of five until they arrived. Inner lining in back wears out quickly. The leather seems thinner than it used to be. Whole shoe is not as supportive.Guess that's because of lower standards since moving to China. This might be the last pair of Rockports I'll buy. After many loyal years, now gonna look elsewhere...sigh

I am returning this item due to leather defect on the right shoe top and also on left shoe around an eyelit, a discolored area. Also noticed stiffness around the heal area. I am a big fan of Rockport for about 15 years so this won't stop me from buying again.

I purchased this shoe thinking it was lighter colored as displayed. I was very disappointed with the color upon arrival.
