I bought this for an upcoming 65 mile rucking event in the Ocala National Park. I put it on the hip belt of my Overload. My only issue with it is that mounted on the belt the bottom 3rd sticks out below the hip belt, so when the pack is sitting on the ground it wants to fall backwards. Which isn't a big deal at all and I think if the pouch mounted higher to avoid this it would have the bear canister most likely too top heavy and flopping around on the hip belt. At the end of the day if I ever need to use that bear spray I'm going to be glad that it's securely attached and hasn't fallen off somewhere on the trail. I would 100% buy this pouch again if I ever needed another one.

I love that this accessory was available for my backpack. It is a must for us Montana hikers/backpackers!

I bought this holster and it's attached to my Hot Radio Rig (which I recommend). It's mandatory I carry bear spray in my current position and this holster works. I carry the larger canister and it fits no problem. The holster holds the spray solid and I'm not worried about it falling out.

I bought this "bear spray holster" to hold a water bottle on my thermal scanner harness. It's perfect!!

Holds a can of bear spray as advertised. I use it on a hill people gear chest pouch. Keeps the can secure and aimed outward in an easy to draw and/or use position.

I bought the bear spray carrier because of its size. It's a perfect carrier for a 100 round plastic box of 22 cal ammo! I have it on my pistol belt when I'm out for hike in the timber.

This holster is well made, it's Mystery Ranch, I've never seen them not make something good. This fits my bear spray nice a tight, however it is easy to draw out as necessary, I have practiced test the draw several times. Nice piece of kit that I hope I never have to use, but this holster puts it right at your finger tips if necessary.

Bought this to mount on my bino chest harness. Works great.

Have used this in the field a handful of times. I really like the holster. In particular, MR did a great job crafting it to work well with multiple attachment options. The elastic also makes it inherently flexible for variations in canister size. Not the cheapest, but a very good piece of field equipment that is very well constructed and thought out.

This holster is very easy to attach to your shoulder strap. It attaches securely and does not flop around, keeping your bear spray handy at all times.

I bought this to go with my hunting pack, it's great quality and purpose built just as expected from Mystery Ranch. Holds the bear spray canister tightly with the elastic top and has a great retention strap with quick pull loop at the end.

Basic holster but with better attachment options than what comes with two brands of bear spray. Also, a better closure strap.

Holster feels secure on the hip belt of my pack and I'm not worried about losing my bear spray when crawling or scrambling. Much sturdier than the holster the bear spray comes with.

I bought this for a hunting pack because it came in camo, but well thought out details make this a great holster all around. The small ribbon pull tab and the thin plastic insert allow me to stow this out of the way on the back edge of my pack hip belt, but I can still retrieve and replace the canister with ease despite being out of view (and out of the way).

I bought this holster for my SG bag and Marsupial bino harness - it fits on both. Have yet to run into a bear to make sure it works ;)

Have used this numerous times with a variety of sizes of backpacks and the packs. It's adjustable, secure, well-made, and makes for quick and easy access to your bear spray.

Ive been trying to attach it correctly since I've gotten it. Every way i run webbing through velcro it becomes loose and floppy. The video shows snaps and other ways to attach but not the way the bear spray holster is made.
