Born has always been a comfortable shoe that fits me well. I like that they use genuine leather. Born shoes wear well and last a long time. I purchased the Uinta in a size 9 for my 8 1/2 foot. I got the brown. This is a really cute and fun style, I love the wide straps that hold my foot securely on the shoe so it doesn't flap around as with other thong styles. The platform design makes me feel like I'm wearing a heel but I'm still walking on my entire foot (rather than the ball of my foot) so it's very comfortable. The first time I wore them was to an outdoor spring festival where I was on my feet in a big crowd for hours, and they were very comfortable all day. I love the white sole; it contrasts with the brown leather for a fresh and springy look, but it also works well with fall colors. These work well with skinny jeans, capris, and dresses. Every time I wear them I receive compliments. My only complaint is that the leather scuffs easily. Otherwise, a great shoe.

So far am and very happy! The shoes look exactly as the image and are beautiful. Zappos suggested I go up to a 7 and I'm glad I followed their advice. My usual size is 6.5 but I have slightly wide feet with a high instep and the 6.5 would have been too tight. Usually Born shoes are plenty wide for me. I had foot surgery 7 months ago and have a fused big toe that does not bend. I need a stiff sole and these have a slight rocker off the forefoot so they feel like they will be perfect.

Very comfy, but the quality just wasnt there for me. First off, they were clearly worn and dirty. The stretchy area where there is a notch was torn, the soles were dirty, the insole was covered in pet hair. Second, I am an 8.5. I bought an 8, too small. Returned for a 9, too big. They were VERY comfy, but kind of matronly and not cute. For $100+ I expect a brand new shoe without any wear and tear, and to fit perfect. These just didnt do it for me.

I usually wear 7.5. Ordered both 7 and 8... the 7 is perfect. If you have medium-width foot (not wide!), don’t be afraid to size down from a usual half-size.

Nice sandal & very comfortable! The part that goes between the toes is a little think & bothers me on one foot, but I think it will eventually get better with wear. I really like these though.

I've never been able to wear Born shoes because they don't come wide enough. I thought maybe if I went up a size that I might be able to wear this shoe, but no way. It's a brand I have always loved the look of, but forget it if you have even the slightest of wide feet. So sad they only cater to "skinny feet".

These turned out to be my favorite summer sandals. Comfy, solid footbed that worked even in Europe on uneven cobblestones. Love the added height they gave me. Casual but dressy with a little black dress on a summer night.

Very comfortable sandals. The first time I wore them they were like wearing shoes all worn in. I have gotten many comments on them and wondering how they can be ordered.

I loved this shoe but unfortunately, I have thin feet and the non adjustable straps just allowed my foot to slip right out of it!

These are the cutest sandals ever. I usually wear a 7 but they were too small. Returning the item couldn't be easier. I have ordered shoes from Zappos before and they truly are the most accommodating to do business online!

I mostly wear Born shoes, for their style, quality, comfort, and fit. I love the gorgeous, modern cut of the black sandals that I purchased. A 2" platform wedge adds lift, while minimizing the sensation of walking in heels. The sandals have a chunky look, but the payoff is a molded, cushioned, foot bed that provides allover support to the bottom of the foot and holds it securely in place. The leather is thin, making the shoes lightweight, which I love, and feel that I am walking on air. The thong section is soft and completely comfortable. My one small criticism is that the crossed leather straps are slightly too roomy for my feet and are not adjustable; but my feet do stay in place while walking. I am gladly keeping these sandals and find them futuristic and refreshing. I wear them every day.

I love this sandal...it can be sporty or can easliy be worn with a sundress or capris... It looks great on your foot (I wear a 6 ) and because it's a platform I can wear and (use) the extra height. My issue is I have arthritic feet and have had big toe joint replacement. the strap comiing over the big toe was just not comfortable for me.... otherwise it was a "keeper". Hope you can use this information to help make your decision regarding this cute sandal.

These were light as air and as expected. I think if I’d have ordered 1/2 size larger I would have kept them, but my impulse purchasing was squelched and I’m going to return.

These sandals are SO cute - they remind me of a pair I had in the 70s. Although I purchased the size I always wear, they were about half an inch too short. They might have been better once the bands stretched a bit and my foot slid forward, but they were still going to be a bit short. Very sad! Would have loved to keep them.

Half sizes will struggle with this style. I wear a 7.5 and the 7.0 was too small and the 8.0 was too big. It looked too clunky on my foot also. It is lightweight and reasonably comfortable.

I love the look of these sandals and of course the wonderful born comfort. However, for some reason they went to a non-breathable insole so my feet get hot. The insole should have been leather of some other breathable material.

I was unsure at first if they would be comfortable because the straps did not hug my feet, but I just spent the day walking in them and they felt good. They have a clunky look but I like that look. I usually wear 8 1/2 or 9. The 9 was perfect in this sandal. They are just wide enough so that my foot is not too close to the edge. Overall I am happy with them.

Love the style, but they definitely run wide. Not sure yet if they are a keeper.

Cute shoe, very light weight, but even though it doesn’t feel narrow, I can feel where the straps go into the sole (the seam). It’s like walking on a crack and I’m afraid it will keep bothering me. I will return.

I loved this style, and sizing wasn't bad, but I have 'low volume' feet and could not keep the shoes on. I walk a lot and would walk out of them

I really liked the shoes but they ran way too short. I am returning and trying the next size up but I fear they will be too long. Due to excellent customer service, I am re-ordering.

Cute shoes, good support, but found my big toe almost hanging over the edge! I wish they came in half sizes, thinking a full size would be too big. Sadly sending back.
