although I ordered my normal size, a 9 - 9 1/2, these clogs seem a little large on me. I'm finding that my arches hurt by the end of the day, which was just the opposite of what I'd hoped for. The size below was an 8 (39) and I was afraid that would be too small but now I wish I'd ordered it.

Returned 2 pairs…too big…will try a size 1 1/2 smaller than usual.

I sooo wanted to love these slippers. I have had at least 3 pairs of soft soled Haflinger slippers (yes, the toes keep poking out way too soon but there is just nothing else like them for comfort year around). This was my first try at the hard soled style. The footbed was awesome ... support in all the right places and true to length. BUT, my foot is not narrow at all ... if anything, it tends to run a tad wide, and these were insanely wide. I wouldn't have been able to keep them on my feet, even with thick socks. I also know from experince that these stretch. I have no idea who has a foot wide enuf to fill these up!

Too big overall, deceptive sizing? What happened? This has been my size in the past. Has sizing changed? I will return these. Unavailable in smaller sizes.

These shoes were recommended by my podiatrist. I ordered my usual size: Size 9. What I wasn't thinking about was that the shoes are "unisex," meaning that a Women's Size 9 is a Men's Size 7 (or whatever). A woman's foot is necessarily narrower than a man's and the shoe is trying to be a one size fits both. The shoes seemed to be two sizes too large and my heel was swimming in them. There's no way they are going to work; sorry, Doctor!

Shoes run large and wide. Did not fit my feet well at all.

The Haflinger Grizzly slipper is absolutely comfy, right out of the box. A perfect fit. I wear a 7 shoe (38), but took the advice of other reviews and ordered a "37". The black color with a grey pattern is smart and stylish. Workmanship is topnotch and worth every penny of the price.. Highly recommend.
