I bought the leaf print and love the design and color....but boy were they tight! I could get my foot in, but 3 problems. The band across the top has almost no give and it hurt, the band that runs around the back of the shoe, also has almost no give and that hurt too. Then the shoe was too small. I bought my usual size, but even if all other things were great, they weren't long enough. But they are well made, the stitching is strong and tight, the sole is substantial, like a real boat shoe. These do not look like water shoes.......you will be able to get away with wearing them with jeans or shorts. The braided detail looks and feels like rope.....I can't believe it's rubber. I will order again, 1 size larger to see if I can make these cute shoes work!

Great shoes but they do run small so I would recommend ordering a size up.

This was such a nice surprise! I needed a casual pair of shoes and these fit the bill. I honestly thought they were going to feel plastic-y. Not in the least. Way lighter than a sneaker slip on--great for a rainy day, muddy venue, going on the boat, running errands in the summer, the beach...you name it. I got the eyelet ones and they feel like slippers. I was so impressed by these shoes that my husband ordered one of the mens pairs and he loves them too. Highly recommend!

I really like Seastars as they go from the beach to regular day activities. They don't look like obvious water shoes, but have those benefits. The elasticized back can dig in a little so if you don't want them for much more than walking on the beach I'd get a size up for comfort, but if you want them for actual water activities your regular size would be better for staying on. These fit like all there other styles.

Everything about this shoe was as expected. The color is vibrant and the shoe is perfect for beachcombing.....unfortunately I have the ugliest feet in the world and this shoe seemed to enhance this! Truly a great shoe ~ just not for me!

Going on vacation and looking forward to wearing this. I listened to the reviews and bought a 1/2 size larger. Fits great. Snug but not uncomfortably so.

Felt a half to full size small. I usually take a 8 in sandals and 8.5 in shoes. I needed a 9 in these shoes.

Really cute, comfy and versatile

These are great for chasing around my toddler--she and I have matching pairs in the White Gold color! We wear ours to the beach and straight to lunch/ dinner with beach dresses. They dry quickly after getting wet, protect your feet from hot sand, and the gripping rubber sole is great for a more sure-footed transition from the boat to the dock. The closed toe is great for biking, too. We use them at the seaside and the lake!

I love my Seastar shoes! They are incredibly comfortable. I wear them not only at the beach but when I am running around in the city doing errands! They the best especially when caught in a rainstorm!

I have a couple of the Sea Star Shoes to wear for the beach, water activities and for walking around the city. They are super comfortable and chic! They're super versatile and they go with so many outfits, not just bathing suits. I highly recommend these shoes - one of the best purchases I made!

These espadrilles are the absolute best! You can wear them anywhere and they never get hurt! They dry in just 15 minutes and you can clean them in the shower with just soap and water! They’re also the comfiest shoes ever!

I am so happy that Zappos is carrying Sea Stars!! These are the greatest beach shoes ever—wouldn’t think of taking a beach vacation without them. You can walk the beach and then head to lunch without having to change your shoes. These are the most versatile shoes you will ever own. I can’t recommend them enough. I own multiple colors!

These felt very comfortable, though I suspect many people would consider it to be a wide fit; however, I do have a wide foot and so these were perfect for me. Ideally, I would have liked some arch support and perhaps some more cushioning in the heel. I bought these to accompany a Victorian swimsuit for a costume party, and they were perfect with stockings and long ribbons laced up the leg to the knee.

Cute idea -- but an internal seam hit my instep in a weird way that would bother me (just one foot, though, so who knows if its the shoes, that shoe, or my foot). Like the concept and seem like they’d be good for travel

Very comfortable, but I had to return them because they are too unpractical as water shoes (sand would get in) and too cheap looking for a regular wear, especially for such a high price.

Ordered up (half size) as other reviews said. The neoprene fits close to my foot, which is fine. Overall length is fine. But right shoe has a rolled edge that digs into my heel no matter what I do. Still wearable but not for all day-weekend-beach-pool running around like I hoped.

The fit was fine. Not too wide, narrow, short or long. But.... the back of the shoe dug into my heel and was very painful. I had previously ordered 6 pair in every color because I love espadrillles and these were made well and had the extra bonus of being water proof. The first orange pair I returned and ordered a second pair a bit later. I wore them a couple times and at first they were way better than the original pair purchased. Oddly, they just took a bit longer to manifest the same characteristic as before. The strange thing is that I have kept four other pair and they are just fine?? It is curious to me that only the orange pair is such. I am bummed cause I loved the bright color. Maybe the manufacturer can remedy this defect and I can purchase them next year! I'll keep my fingers crossed.

I was excited about these, but they look cuter in photos than on my feet. They are pretty flat, not much arch support, and I followed other reviewers' advice to order a size larger. I usually wear an 8 in most shoes. When these arrived, I tried the 9 first, and they even felt a bit too snug. I was looking for something that's comfy right away, and waterproof for trekking through a city with a rainy forecast. I didn't want a pair of shoes that I have to wear in a bit or that I would get blisters from. I went with a pair of waterproof sneakers from Sorel instead that have a lot more arch support and fit perfectly in my size.

I love love love these but would not purchase BLACK if I had a do-over. The shoes are adorable and are literally the perfect non-ugly water shoe, great for beach/boat or any water activity but actually look and feel more like normal flats. My issue is specifically with the BLACK color, apparently the surface of neoprene expands when wet (not so much to tell a difference in fit), this allows for sand particles to get trapped that are impossible to get out. I've tried soaking them in water then cleaning per the manufacturers direction but no luck. The white sand particles in the black material just makes them look kind of dirty or worn (which I've only actually worn them twice). Size wise, they do run a tad small.. I am typically an 8.5 in flats but the 9 in these couldn't be any smaller.

I usually wear a 6.5 and sized up to a 7 in these. Unfortunately, they were too tight in the toe box. But I think the problem may be that my toes turn up rather than a length or width issue. Otherwise, I liked the shoes but probably won't re-order in a larger size since I think an 8 would be much too big.?
