..but I can't imagine not having one! I bought this for 2 purposes.. 1) Dog walking 2) Grocery shopping 1) I can now carry my mega-sized phone, tennis ball, poop bags, face mask, my headphones pod, house keys, and occasional tallboy all while walking and having my hands and pocket free. Most of these items just live in this pack as the dog walking bag. 2) After covid hit, I am running errands for family members, using a face mask and using hand sanitizer like nobody's business. It is so nice to be able to have gloves, mask, headphones, sanitizer, coupons, etc.. There are 4 pockets: 2 security pockets on the back, 2 on the front. The main compartment is huge! So huge that I may sew in a separator pocket to help keep things a bit more organized. I have jogged with it a few times and have been happy enough. Riding a bike with it is a breeze! I can see myself making this a staple item while traveling!

I bought this bag to take on my long walks through the city. It's the perfect size for a small water bottle, my cellphone, and my sunglasses case.

I originally purchase Fanny pack for my self back on 2019 for a trip with family, and one of my niece love it so I had to hand it over to her Is very roomy, I was able to fit sunglasses, wallet, And other essentials, very light weight So i had to purchase a second one, then my nephew like it so I had purchase a 3 for my self

The craftsmanship is always superb on Timbuk2 products. I'm thankful that even though I moved away from the Bay, I can still get Timbuk2 bags (even in Puerto Rico!). Hits the spot. Right size to fit a small water bottle while traveling, back fits the passport and cash, front mesh has room for chapstick and a lighter. Wear it as a big honking fanny or a sling. Lovely!

I love this fanny pack so much because I can fit so much in it. While going to the Alameda County fair, I was able to fit an extra t-shirt, a pair of sunglasses, my wallet, and a few other things. Not only that, but I receive so many compliments on it. I got the green/purple one.

I grew tired of having to haul around everything everywhere even though half of the items I was carrying weren't at all useful. There's a few items that are standard but there is a revolving group of items I use depending on the adventure I'm on. It works great as sling. Simple, just enough space for my needs.

I wear this fanny pack bandolier style for fast access while OTR driving. Just enough room for essentials and lightweight so I hardly know I'm wearing it. Love T2 products and the fact that they don't fail my hard use. Fast shipping with no hidden damages in transit

Ok, maybe they're not super cool but this one is really nice. I got if for my mum and she loves it. Two compartments to segregate your larger and smaller stuff. Nice fabric, Ok colors as well. Does the job.

I love the simplicity and look of this bag. I've used this product for my trips out of the city. It's able to hold the things I carry daily with ease.

This fanny back brings me life. It is simply, stylish and does the job. I have used it at a few concerts and overall daily trips to the city. Perfect to carry your wallet, keys and phone...maybe even a beer can if you're that type ;)

I needed a hip pack mainly for walking and especialy in summer when I don't have a jacket/vest with pockets to carry my keys, mobile, lip balm, light jacket etc. I wanted a hip pack to avoid a sweaty back as well. This pack is very comfortable and the main compartment is super roomy. I can fit a lighweight rain jacket, purse and keys with room to spare. Haven't tried a drink bottle but a small one will fit. The only downside is the front small pocket is realllllly narrow. Its kinda pointless except for a lip balm. Because the pocket is mesh I don't put my keys there in case I stick a hole through it. Otherwise for this price it's great. I wear it around my waist or cross body. Both comfortable, especially on the hip even with weight.

I bought this fanny pack to hold my keys, large wallet, sunglasses, phone, and dog stuff. It is very comfortable and does hold these items. I have deducted a star because it has no internal organization, not even a card slot. I wish it had a zippered internal pocket or card slots. It does have a back zippered pocket but it's so large that you would need to spend some time fishing around for your items.

For those who may not remember or been born, fanny packs were once "the thing." And a few years ago, this boomer started thinking about a fanny pack, for urban strolls and wilderness treks, for outings to the store or just bouncing around. And this pack is perfect in all respects. I purchased Timbuk2 items in the past, for someone much larger than myself, but this one works for a petite woman of a certain age, and the quality is high I tell you. Two thumbs way up for this fanny pack!

This fanny pack is made of a thinner material than the bike messenger bags, but it appears to be sufficient - and therefore nice and light. The zippers are a little awkwardly placed, but the trade off is that their placement makes it harder for pickpockets to open. There is a "hidden" zippered pocket in the back. While that's great for stashing the extra $20, it is just a little too small for a credit card. I hope Timbuk2 redesigns that pocket. Overall, it's the Timbuk2 quality that I purchased. It's well made and ideal for wearing on the hips or cross body. It accommodates a large wallet and glasses case and as such, it has become my go-to weekend bag.

Would recommend this to anyone who's looking to have maybe a wallet, power bank, keys, and some power cables during a long day with friends. However, I did find the secret pocket a bit awkward because it couldn't fit any credit cards, or any access cards for my condo. Would be amazing if the cards fit in the secret compartment though. In addition, the material isn't Cordura fabric, making it less water-repellant than expected. If you are looking for a commute or travel partner that can carry most of the things you put in your pocket (wallet, power banks, power cords, keys, or some receipts, or maybe even 1 shirt) this will do the job. It's a perfect match for travel and its so convenient to use because the zippers aren't too stiff. Would likely purchase another one, but would like to see it available in Cordura-fabric for the water-repellant properties. This is the 2nd Timbuk2 bag I have bought, and I see myself purchasing another one for future needs. They did well with this bag.

Quality is good and the product is as described.

I used this product for quick trips to the store, has a great cell phone pocket and additional pockets for other items. It is not bulky at all and you don't know you have it on while wearing it. Purchased the black color and goes with anything! Would like to see it in the future in floresent colors.

Where's the MAGNUM ?? This bag is getting returned. It's small. I can't fit my wallet, phone and sunglasses case in it. Let alone anything else... the material seems average, nothing like what I would expect from Timbuk2. I've used their Messenger bags for 16 years and I loved their products but this was a real letdown. If the MAGNUM were available I would have went with that and probably kept it. It looks like exactly what I wanted.

The quality of materials and construction are perfect. The design aesthetics work The scale is wrong. This is just too small to be useful. 1.5X or 2X the size\volume and you'd have a winner. I get phone + wallet + keys + glasses with difficulty. No room for anything else.
