These boots fit true to size and were quite comfortable however I am definitely sending them back. The pleather material looks very cheap and one of the zippers would not zip and kept getting stuck. They are cheaply made from cheap materials.

I am wearing these for the first time as I write this review. They are the perfect height and last. Not too angled which sometimes hurts my feet. I like the tight smooth ankle for 2 reasons. I love the look with very straight leg pants as they go over the ankle instead of in the boot. A nice smooth look. Secondly, I like the feeling of ankle support as well. I think I will wear these a lot this season.

I ordered 6.5 wide and they felt like 6.5 medium. I can't imagine how tight the medium width would feel. But it's a super chic little boot. I have short legs and bigger calves and these actually looked good on me.

This is my second pair! (White and black) I love the fit. They are snug, which is okay for me. If you think you may wear heavy socks, you may want to size up. I always wear very thin socks, an wanted a sleek look, so my regular size 8 is perfect.

I wear a size 11 so I am always paying attention the fit of my shoes. This boot, even with the pointed toe, is very comfortable and very fashionable. Enjoy!

GREAT!!! These shoes are so cute and very chic. I was super scared on buying these boots because Dolce Vita usually runs a half size small so I had to get two sizes just to see how they both fit. I’m happy my original, regular size worked out because I’m SO IN LOVE! Unfortunately, these aren’t good to drive in, so you will have to remove your right shoe when driving. But other than that, these are a must buy! ??

Even better in person. I am 5'1 and always have trouble with hems of jeans. Since the bootie is tapered at the ankle, it allows the jean to go right over the ankle for a streamlined look. Really gives an illusion of long legs. Also looks awesome with dresses and skirts. LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! I feel that these run true to size. If you plan on wearing thick socks tho, might consider a half size up. You can actually wear normal socks with these because of the shaft height and tapered ankle. Super happy with purchase.

Okay, these caught me by surprise. I was originally in love with the Dolce Vita Coltyn in snake print, and when they were sold out I was heart broken...so I went ahead and tried the Shanta in snake. At first, I was definitely struggling with the fact that they were synthetic and not leather. I loved the fit, but couldn't get over the material. So I decided to wear them around my house for the evening and then sleep on it. Come morning, I was in love with them. Yes, I loved that the Coltyn had real leather, but I must say I prefer the actual shoe shape and style of the Shanta better! It's slimmer and higher around the ankle which makes it feel extra feminine and sleek, and the extra pointed toe feels stylish and more daring--not too cowgirl either, just the slightest taste of western, but mostly rock n' roll. Also, once walked around in a bit I realized that the synthetic material was a great characteristic--it doesn't rub against your ankle and it's very comfortable to walk in--lots of flexibility. I now love these shoes, and I think I even love them more than the Coltyn! They're very well made and they've got that classic sturdy sole that Dolce vita is famous for. If you're on the fence of getting these booties, just go for it. Be bold, don't be afraid to stand out, and embrace what an awesome stylish statement these shoes are! 10/10 recommend

I love these for my skinny jeans that are a little long. The total is perfect not too pointy does not make my foot look long like the other ones I will be returning. Love the style I think I wore the style oh maybe 10 years ago it’s back!

Love. This. Boot. First of all, I had to order it twice because my first shipment was stolen off my stoop. Zappos immediately refunded me and had the boot in stock again within a week. This time my package was delivered to my neighborhood UPS Access Point without issue. This is a great looking western bootie that doesn't look hillbilly western. Very urban chic styling, these boots work for me because I have thin ankles and calves and most styles I've tried are way too wide at the shaft.

I prefer a more sleek look with minimal gap at the ankle, which these provide. My foot slid right in like they were made just for me and the zipper at the back is so cool. Cannot say enough good things about these beauties. Love them!

Love these boots, purchased the ivory/gone color with black solke...very on trend and comfortable from day one. I'm an 8.5 - 9, medium width and the size 9's were a perfect fit

Love, Love, Love these shoes. Very comfy, I ordered 1/2 size larger like another reviewer suggested if wearing with socks. Bought in Off White...so cute.

Just got these boots and I love them! They fit perfectly with thinner socks and hug the ankle for a chic look. I tried them on and they fit perfectly. My first priority is comfort, then style. Though I haven’t worn them for an extended time yet, I feel they will be comfortable enough to wear for a day or night out.

These were surprisingly large. There’s plenty of room in the pointy toe. I thought I’d need to size up but it wasn’t needed. I am going to get other colors in smaller size!

I noticed several other reviewers felt these ran small. I agree that you can’t wear more than a (very) thin boot sock or nylon knee high. I found the foot fit to be slightly snug but I wore them very comfortably the first time. The back zippers were very stiff initially but they’re starting to work more smoothly. The ankles are definitely slim fit so that could be a challenge for some. I find the thicker heel very comfortable. I feel like I still have some height plus comfort. Was somewhat unsure when I ordered them, pleasantly surprised on my first wearing, and on my way to loving them. I fully expect them to become my go-to boot. I will disagree with a previous response about whether you can tuck skinny jeans into these. My response is you can’t. They’re that slim cut around the ankle. My two cents.

Overall these definitely fit true to size and were comfortable to wear. I also had the same issue with the zipper but it seemed to get better with each use. I'm returning them because I agree that the material looks cheap.

I wear an 8 1/2 wide and have previously ordered that size/width in Dolce Vita shoes. These were much too narrow and despite being marked as a wide fit, actually felt more narrow/constricting than an ordinary medium width. Had to return and sorry to do so, as the pattern was fun.

Great style with good value. However, the zippers in the back of the booth don't function well at all. They get stuck-consistently.

This was not the boot for me. The heel is cheaply made, makes overall boot look cheap. For the price need to make a better heal...I hot on sale and will return, just poorly made...

I actually can't tell you how this shoe fits because the zipper won't come all the way down. Because it is in the back it gets stopped by the seam at the heal. But I will tell you it does not anything like real leather

Have you ever prayed for a shoe to become available again in your size? Well I am. That’s how much I love these boots. I’m very particular, but these hit all the marks: simple but with a little something special; quality materials; comfort. The fitted ankle is super soft, feels awesome hugging my leg, and looks fab. Undetectable under straight-leg pants and cute with ankle pants. The angles of the heel and toe, and the heel zipper give the simple black styling an edge. The heel gives lift and femininity, yet you could walk in them for days. Depending on brand, I vary between a 10 and 11 Wide (C). The 10 Medium “fit” my foot but was too tight in length and width to keep. Though I sure tried to talk myself into making them work. Lord let the 11W become available again!

I purchased Shanta in that gray color, in suede-ish leather. I love these booties. I'm 61, struggled all my life with flat, wide feet, and now have a bone spur to contend with. Took a chance on these as they come in wide. These are so comfortable, look great and are versatile. I'm about to order another color!!
