I normally wear size 7 in classic FitFlop thong-style flip-flops, but in the past I had ordered a 7 in one of their closed-toe styles and it was too small (plus I almost always take a 7.5 in flats), so I ordered both sizes to try on in this style, and actually, the 7 was perfect in length. Loved the color (Hazelnut), the cushy bottom, the comfy rounded toe. However...the gathered back--which probably helps keep the shoe on for most people--just hit me at an awkward place on my heel (it was too shallow for me--wanted it to go up higher to hold my whole heel), so I am regretfully sending them back. If they happen to fit your foot well, you'll probably love them. (For reference, I own and love Cole Haan Jenni II flats in 7.5, but was looking for more support.)

I have a very hard time finding flats that will fit my small bunions and not cut into the back of my heel. I took a chance on these and am glad that I did! They are very comfy and roomy without being too wide on the sides (a problem I sometimes have with vionic flats). I do wish they had a bit more arch support, but I do have higher arches. All in all, would recommend for anyone who has trouble finding flats and for those with bunions!

I bought these for the arch support and padded insole for a more comfortable ballet flat. They are a basic black leather ballet flat with no additional decoration. I usually wear a 10.5 or 11 B. I ordered the 11 which felt at least 2 sizes too big. I returned them for a 10 which still feels at least a half size too big, but they do not come in 9.5, so I will keep these and add an extra insole to make them stay on my feet.

I needed a comfortable all day shoe for work. These are super supportive and I like the gold color. However, the back digs into my Achilles and wore away my skin, so in the future, I'll need to wear something to protect my ankle. I'll keep them but they're not the go-to's I was hoping for.

Overall, these shoes were fine but they did not work with my feet. I have genetic bunions and narrow heels. They felt too wide throughout the shoe. My heel did not really slip off, but I found myself gripping the shoe too much with my toes as I tried them on in my house. There was no way I could comfortably wear them out in public. I liked the appearance in general, but not the rouching near the heel. They were not for me, but the sole was so comfortable. I wish they would have worked!

I ordered two colors and two sizes: 7 and 7.5 (37.5 & 38 Euro Sizes). There was little to no difference in the size. Looking at them you could perceive one size being slightly...I mean slightly larger or smaller, but sole to sole, they were exactly the same size. I love their sandals...live in them during the summer, but have no luck with their closed shoes.

I ordered a half size down from my normal size. The shoe felt too small in the toe but way too wide all over. I wanted to like it because it was so soft, but it didn’t feel supportive.

The toe box was not deep enough for me. There was pressure on my big toenails. My heels slipped out easily. I thought the elastic would help but it didn’t make any difference. I couldn’t wear a smaller size because it would have been to short.

Perfect with everything

They fit loosely. I called Fitflop and the customer service person suggested I get a smaller size. I did, and I love the shoe. The smaller size fits snugly, but it is very comfortable and great support. I wouild buy again.

This is exactly what I was looking for. Room for toes to naturally spread out; stylish and comfortable all at the same time. Also goes with everything from jeans to skirts to dresses! Thanks

I love this brand and I have 3 different pairs of the Allegros. Red, black and a floral print. They are true to size and are super comfy.

These are super cute - I'm a true 7.5 in most shoes - I ordered 8's in these and they are comfortable from the minute I put them on. FitFlops have not disappointed me in flip flops, slippers and now my first ballet flats. I would recommend these shoes.

The fitflop allegro is by far the most comfortable ballet flat, I have ever worn! I highly recommend this ballet flat to anyone looking for a classic look that is both stylish and comfortable!

I have wide feet and found these true to my normal size. They have a somewhat frumpy style but I'm actually okay with that--good for a general office shoe. The silver color is so bright and shiny that it removes the frumpy factor present in the black and brown colors (yes, I got three). The leather is very soft and easy to break in.

for a flat these have great support. better than anything ive tried and ive tried many! pleased with this purchase.

Sooooooo comfortable!

Was half a size big, but after exchanging for correct size it was perfect, and soooooo comfortable!

Soft leather with excellent cushioning... They felt like bedroom slippers. Not enough structure to the shoe and I'm not sure the elastic around the heel would be comfortable.

Perfect for my upcoming cruise! Good arch support (wouldn’t be enough for a whole day for my feet, but more than adequate for a special occasion).

Usually take a 7 in Fit Flops but the run a bit large. Had to put a liner in so I didn’t slip. Next pair will be a 6 1/2. Other than that, love them.

These shoes are incredibly comfortable and are much more supportive than I even thought they would be.

I usually have to go up a half size due to a bunion, but these shoes are so soft and forgiving, I had to return my original pair and purchase a size down. Very comfortable. I gave the shoes four stars because my socks kept sneaking out of the sides and I kept having to readjust!
