I ordered these in a size 8 in red as that is my usual size in Taos (and most other sandals). My right foot swells due to an injury several years ago and I have had to modify my choice of shoes to accommodate this. I have found that Taos is the perfect shoe for me and this style can be adjusted beautifully with the velcro straps across my toes and ankle. I have the Trophy as well but Zenith has a slightly higher heel which give it a different look and feel. I definitely recommend Taos - even to those with feet that "expand" during the warmer months.

This shoe was very comfortable on the foot. I regret that I had to return them. For some reason the strap hit my moderate bunion the wrong way and turned my toes inward more than usual. My toes left about a third of the toe bed exposed and the strap collapsed inward from no support from my toes. Besides the bunion issue the shoes were true to size and the style was good. Thanks to Zappos for being great about returns as I hunt for that perfect shoe.

I have a leather Taos from years ago that I should dispose due to its condition but love and have not been able to find one similar since. This shoe would work great but I have a full size difference now and cannot hide it with this shoe (no heel adjustment). The 10 fits the right but need a 9 on the left and cannot afford to buy 2 pairs. Thank you Zappos for letting me try several shoes this summer. You are the best!

This is a really nice shoe. Unfortunately, I have a low volume foot that is a bit on the narrow side. I was not able to adjust the ankle strap tightly enough that I felt secure in the shoe. If it had an adjustment in the heel such as sport sandals have, it would have been perfect. I wear a size 10 and this was a size 41. I ordered a 40, and tried that, but it was a bit too short and still too loose in the ankle.

I wear an 8 1/2 so I ordered a size 9. The shoes were way too big and even though the straps were adjustable, they were too wide as well. I had to return them. The style was okay. I think they would look better on my foot in a smaller size.

This is a nice looking sandal with a comfortable footbed and straps. I don't know if the shoe is cut different and pushed my foot at an angle or the shoe was just too short as my toes hung over. I wear a size 8/39 and a larger size would have been too big. The pewter color is soft and rich looking. Sad to send them back they would have been a comfortable shoe.

I wanted to love these sandals but the piece that is near the toes seemed to be a little too far forward so that it would rub my toes. Otherwise they fit fine and felt good. Unfortunately they are going back.

The foot bed was longer than my oherTaos shoes size 8. Unfortunatly I wear an American size 7.5 but have to settle European size 8. Since these were longer they would be a tripping hazard.
I'd also recommend:
Munro size 7.5

I have quite a few Taos shoes. I was advised to order a size 8 like my other Taos shoes. This foot bed is much longer than my other Taos shoes. It is impossible for me to wear these shoes. They area tripping hazard for me. Sorry but I am unable to wear them.

Loved Munro where I could wear a true 7.5
