These are great! I have narrow feet, so I added an extra insole and they are perfect. Very comfy for a boot! Can't wait to wear them all day.

Bought for my son, bought his original size 12 (UK 11), but was a full size too large for him. Returned for size 11 (UK size 10) and fit perfectly. Son is a size 12 (11.5 if shoes run large) in Nike, Adidas, etc. otherwise, good quality, as expected, stylish and the coyote color doesn’t come super distressed but appear that is will develop great patina.

has an extra piece of leather after joining the tongue and body of the shoe that jammed uncomfortably into the top of my foot. Will try another pair to be make sure it's not a defect to this pair... but annoying I have to do this from such an established shoe company.

The look of this boot is great and I liked that it smelled like leather opening the box. The left boot leather was thinner and flimsy compared to the right boot being much stiffer. It wouldn't bother me if both sides were consistent but it is really noticeable and does affect the way they fit. I have also experienced this with previous 1460 styles so I'm wondering if it is a quality issue with Dr Martens manufacturing. Sadly, I think I will no longer be buying the 1460 style. Zappos customer service is great and I appreciate their ease of returns.

These are nice boots but they are very heavy and most of all they are painful to wear due to the stiff leather that bangs against the lower calves. They actually bruised by calves after about 45 minutes around the house. I would like to find a brown pair of Dr Martens but they all seem to be sold out. I have tried several styles and they are either too narrow or overall too big or no arch support at all EXCEPT the Ambassador which I own in black and fit great and would love to have in the Cask color but only an 11 is left.

The fit was fine, but the material/leather is hard/stiff which makes the boots uncomfortable. Also, when I tried one boot on, I felt something lumpy close to the toe. When I took the insole out, it turned out it was folded and was not totally flat and fitted inside. The color also was not what I expected - more black than brown.

I thought, Dr. Martens you can’t go wrong. I made a mistake. Great looking boot but very uncomfortable. I understand it takes a bit of time to break these boots in but I was expecting more for the price. I’m a size 11 and the boot plain and simply didn’t feel or fit right for me. I added insoles to see if it would help with my investment and yes these boots are an investment. Insoles helped but not enough to correct there uncomfortable feel. I’m on my feet (inside and outside) most of my day and need a comfortable boot. I don’t think I have the feet for Dr. Martens.

I am a loyal Dr. Martens fan, let me start off by saying that. This time though I am HIGHLY dissatisfied because I thought that for the price that I paid ($140.00) that they were going to be the authentic boots made in England, NOT China!! And then I learn that a very short time later the price had dropped 30%??? If I would have known this I would not have ordered them. I am going to think twice about Zappos the next time I order boots. I should’ve went directly through Dr. Martens website.
