Great classic boots! I looked through so many black boots and this is pretty much the pair I had in mind! They’re comfortable, pretty, no goofy shape, low heel.

I love how simplistic this style is. I’ve been searching for something like this for over 7 years and glad to say these are my first ever class Chelsea boots. I love Joules for their quality and preppy English country style which truly embodies these shoes. However they’re not very comfortable like I thought. Quite narrow and stiff, sole is a bit too thin. Probably need a lot of break-ins. I’m a solid size US 8 in shoes but I found these a whole size larger. I guess it makes sense in a way since I usually wear EU 38 in European brands like Ilse Jacobsen. Somehow Joules converted EU 38 to be US 7 which is actually ideal for me. Overall I still love the boots very much, they’re perfect for my Joules collection.

Materials and construction quality is high and the pattern on the elastic gore is truly snazzy, but the look didn't work for me - too narrow around the ankle, too plain and flat on the vamp. They are perfectly true to the Zappos site photos, just in did look/feel as expected. Disappointed - still searching for the perfect boot.

I'm a steady size 7 and these felt like an 8 on me. Love the style but came a bit too high up on shin for regular booties, so it felt uncomfortable when I walked in it. I'm 5'2 so mayne because I'm short it hit me at the wrong spot. Didnt love that the leather bent so easily....the picture gave it a sturdier appearance but the leather is a but too flexible for me. Had it fit better definitely a keeper....so classy and tailored!

These are very flat boots, but that’s the style. Didn’t buy expecting to feel like a hiking boot. Super cute, comfy enough. They need a bit to break in.
