A very comfortable shoe. I wear them for work as I am constantly running around the lab. Disappointed that my right big toe already made a hole in the shoe. Something I had a problem with on both shoes when wearing ASICS. Hoping it would be different with this brand...not so much.

I had high hopes for the Anthem2 in Burgundy. The fabric color is fine, but it is too thin. I know for a fact that my big toe will rub through this fabric in no time, it is just not well made. I had that problem with my Nike's so I switched to Brooks. The fit is nice and since I only tried them on inside the house I am not commenting on the comfort for walking/running. I have the Ravenna 9's and love them, I walk in them all the time and they show no wear and tear in the big toe areas. Sadly the Anthem 2 is not working for me, just can't spend the money when I know they will not last long enough to justify. The Ravenna 9 is my favorite. I want to add that it may be a Brooks manufacturing issue that the fabric tears on the top of the inner ankle, I have seen many other reviews reporting this for Brooks. This also happened to my Brooks Ravenna 9, I had them only for 3 or 4 months and this shouldn't happen.

What a horrible shoe to run in. Bought my usual Launch and one of those was defected. Took them back and bought these because I wear neutral. It was like trying to run in regular street shoes. not flexible and no push to them.

The shoe'comfort was appropriate...however the fabric wasn't. A hole appeared within 3 weeks of normal wear.... Very disappointing.

I liked the minimalist style and the look of these shoes. However, they are too minimalist. My toes have gone through the fabric on both shoes within a few months of wearing. I wear them for walking, about 15 miles/week, so not a ton.

Have worn Brooks for years, not sure what's up with these. I normally buy Ghost but thought I'd try these. On the Treadmill they feel slick on the souls like I'm going to fall and these just seem to mash my Large toenails. Very disappointed.

I bought these 1/2 size larger for my daughter but she said they were uncomfortable. I thought she was just saying that to get another pair of shoes until I saw the back of her heel rubbed raw. I love Brooke's for running and am a loyal customer. I'm not sure how these are different for her.

They are so cute and super comfortable. I have worn them for not even a week and already started ripping at the top of the laces. I haven't been rough on them or anything. Just used for walking. I have loved brooks for years because I have had two feet surgeries and they don't hurt my feet. So not the happiest with these shoes.

Uncomfortable. Narrow even though it was normal width. Hurt my feet within an hour of wearing them (I haven't had this problem with any other brooks shoes yet)

If you're a serious runner of like to just run ever now and then, do NOT get these. Spend the extra money and get some shoes with better cushion and support. Trust me, you're joints will thank you later.

My last and most recent pair of running shoes were Brooks and they worked well without any pain (for the most part) when wearing/using them. These, however, are not comfortable at all. I am so grateful to Zappos for their Runlimited 30 Day Guarantee because I am returning them.
I did not even get to run in them. Just walking in them caused ankle pain and the development of shin splints. :( Back to the drawing board. And I will probably need some Zappos customer service help in selecting a new pair.
