These are a well made solid lightweight hiker. I normally wear 9.5 W . Not available so I went with a 10 D. and they fit real well. They also have a good insole. I use custom orthopedic insoles, but will to try these without for a few walkabouts. Initially feel like they could use a little more forefoot cushioning. The color is not quite the brown as shown, lean toward a green/brown with burnt orange accents, that I actually like better.

The 10.5 size fits my size 10 foot perfectly. I would only change one thing. The last two sets of (what's the name for these things?) that you wrap your shoelaces around prior to tying them, are metallic. Usually one can wrap them easily after tightening the laces below that are threaded thru holes. In this case the first set of metallic (things?) require you to thread them, i.e. you can't just wrap around them like you normally do. This takes time and makes tightening the laces difficult. The top set are open at the side and are easily connected prior to tying the shoe. I would recommend that both sets be the open type, rather than having the first set closed, requiring that you take time to thread the aglets through them. Is all this clear ??? Actually, I'm planning to take my little grinder and open up the first set so that I can easily wrap the laces around them. What do you think, Oboz, have I missed something?

Great pair of lightweight hikers, once I got the fit right. Normally wear a 9, but sometime need a 9.5 depending on the manufacturer. Needed to go to the 9.5 with these, hence the comment 1/2 size too small. I also have a narrow foot so appreciate the true medium width and good arch support. The tow box has ample room for narrow ~ medium feet, but no KEEN toe box. Looking forward to my first hike in the next few days

This is my second pair of Oboz Sawtooth hiking boots. They are incredibly comfortable and stylish. You feel like you are walking on air.

Great boots for what they are - lighter weight, hot weather, mids. I personally prefer the stiffer sole of the Oboz Bridger series, but wanted a more breathable boot for day hiking on trips to HI and AZ. Tried on these and the Salomon X Ultra 3s. The Salomons where lighter, but the sole/mid-sole was just too wimpy - more like a tennis shoe. These struck a much better balance between the really stiff sole (but heavier) Asolo's I love, and the more shoe like offerings from Salomon & Merrell. Got the non-waterproof version because I was after max breathability for day hikes, and they've been pretty good. MUCH cooler than my Bridger lows. Sizing is borderline true to a half size small. Width is wider than Asolos & Scarpas, but narrower than Keens. So far, I like them.

I prefer something a little stiffer and with a leather upper. I kept these because for my wide feet, they were by far the most comfortable boots I have tried.
