This is my second pair of Church’s. The first pair I put at least 2,000 miles on. I’m done with Gokeys, Sperry and the rest of the high priced crap I tried when Zappos couldn’t fill my order - I waited 6 months to get my Church’s from Zappos. Comfortable from the first time you put them on - all the rest of the so called “premium” shoes just don’t measure up. The English don’t make great cars, motorcycles or food but they know how to make GREAT SHOES.

Like many of us, I’ve had many pairs of boat shoes over the years from many different makers including Mephisto which are very overrated IMO. These shoes are not fancy but very well made. The leather is high quality, the toe boxes are symmetrical (unlike most of the boat shoes made in China and elsewhere), the stitching is accurate and neat and they were comfortable from the first wearing. I’ve only had them for a few days but I’d say while they are expensive (but less than the Hurikans) the are worth it.

Church’ shoes is a name in the shoe industry. Once you try them, there will be no need to look for other brands. These shoes met my expectations. Zappos service is at par. Excellent service

These shoes were worn for two minutes in extremely light rain and became marked by the water. For boat shoes they have no protection against water which makes no sense. Zappos returned them though and their customer support does not cease to amaze me. Don’t buy these shoes if you have any interest in wearing them around water.
