These shoes are great buy for the price. They are very comfortable and look stylish enough that you can use them for dress down business casual situation for those work occasions, or more casual business office environments. Mind the soles, these may not fit some of the more conservative work places because they are very similar to a sneaker style look. But, the top part is very much on point. The fit is about 1/2 size big. I always buy size 9 (say the New Balance shoes or Cole Haan). I believe I have a very standard 9 size. Width is very much fine. I have no issues. Now, I must preface, I do have somewhat unique foot shape: my big toes are curved up, my pinkie toes are curved inward and I have very high arch. So, I have to be careful with standard size 9 dressy shoes (not so much with sneakers), for example. If the toe box is too tight with very low height (like those Italian shoes), I will not fit them. They will be painful for my toes. Also, if the front part of toe box is narrow (looking from the top), they will kill my pinkie toes (because curved pinkie toe protrudes higher than a normal toe and gets squashed by some shoe height). Also, since I have high arch, if the shoe bridge top is too low, the shoe will fit too tight around the bridge of my foot and will be very painful. I bought size 8.5 and 9 for these shoes just in case. I could see that size 9 is a bit bigger than a regular 9 size as everyone here said. So, if you wear size 9 but buy the 8.5 size and have no irregular foot shape, you will be fine. I tried the 8.5 size and the shoe did fit (length and width wise). However, my big toes felt a bit tight. My pinkies were fine and arch and bridge were fine. So, in conclusion, I decided to keep the size 9 and return the size 8.5. As I said, size 9 is a bit longer than what I need (there is a lot of room in front lengthwise) but they are still fine. My big toes have enough room with no discomfort and toe box is actually pretty roomy due to the slightly larger size. Shoe still works fine. Again, for a normal person, I think you will need at least 1/2 size smaller. The soles are super comfortable and they look neat and stylish (I bought the light brown color). I even got compliments. So, these were a good buy for me. I hope my review helps some people.

These are narrow. I have never purchased a wide width, but for this one I had to order wide.

I generally wear a 9.5 W but I have found that in the better brands of shoes I fit well in 9W. These shoes fit just right at 9W and the width is right on. If anything, there is even a little extra room in the length. Brannock device has me just between 9 and 9.5 with E width.

I wear a size 13, sometimes a 14 (hello, Nike) and I purchased the 13 in this case. Fit is perfect. Super comfortable. Bought them to wear at a company holiday party, and I received more comments about my shoes than I expected. I'll definitely be wearing them more going forward, and I think the contrast of the white bottom with black shoe makes it both comfortable and stylish. Big fan. Would buy again!

Excellent fitting shoe

I originally ordered a size 13M which is my normal size. I wore around the house a bit, and the shoe felt a bit narrow. I then ordered a 13W. The wide size was very comfortable. It was easy to return my original order and received a quick credit. The shoe looks nice and is comfortable. Pleased.

Very comfortable. Runs a little large

I came back to Rockport after trying some other brands. The shoe is rather comfortable and supportive. The insole cushions well and the outer sole has been rather slip resistant on smooth indoor floors. I tend to either sit at a desk all day or walk between buildings. After a day of walking about, my feet are not aching like no tomorrow. Though the shoes are matte black, they are still stylish enough for a business casual look. I recommend giving them a try if you need a comfortable walkable dress shoe.

I wear a 9.5 and usually get EE or 4E (double or 4x) wide, and was nervous to only get these in Wide. They are just fine, and I'm really happy with them. I don't wear them in the rain, they are inside shoe only while at work, so I can't attest to their longevity or durability. But if you have a wider front foot, they will fit well.

Fit is good. I have an old pair of this brand and these fit the same. I needed an upgrade to my dress shoe supply and these fit the bill.

Fit and size was as expected. I’ve been wearing them at work for about a week and they are very comfortable. I’ll probably get another pair for when these wear out.

Great looking shoes, and they would be pretty comfortable if they were available in 4x width. Unfortunately, the men's 8w is too narrow for my wide feet.

Got lots of compliments on these shoes. I'm a little rough with my shoes but these still look great. Wish the tread would last longer but overall im very happy.

First pair of Rockports in years. Had given away last pair, too small and stiff. These feel good so far.
