Out of the box, these look great, fit great, perfect width (EE), perfect length (11.5). I thought they were the perfect boot. Then I stood up and found there was NO arch support. I have high arches. So I put a pair of superfeet in them. Still no support. If you look at the side of the boot, you will notice the sole along the toe is curved from from to back. This isn't a problem for me. But if you look at the front of the boot, you will see that it is curved side to side and the instep side is actually higher than the outside. So the way I stand in them, my feet roll inward (making me knock-kneed) putting a lot of stress on my knees and ankles. I had to return them.

Love these Quarry boots . First time I've tried the USA-made version. A few brief observations: 1) They seem to have less padding than the China-made version, hence the roomy fit. I wear a 10 on all my shoes, but this 10 feels about a half-size larger to me. 2) They look really great! The design is less bulky and awkward looking 3) Not as comfy as the China-made Quarry. Those were over-the-top luxuriously comfy. 4) I find them easier walk in, over complicated terrain. This is probably because they seem to have less padding, and an overall narrower profile. I would buy them again.
