My son likes these, and I like how lightweight they are. The soles have held up well after 4 months of wear, but the velcro straps have come apart -- the velcro strip is separated from the strap. I tried to sew them back together the first time it happened, and then the other one tore the next day. I wouldn't buy these again.

The straps on these shoes ripped apart in less than a month. Not worth it!!!

Fit good, wore well, the elastic laces and Velcro closure are the way to go.

Holding up with active 6 yo.

My son loves these sneakers, he says they make him very fast and wants to get the same brand next time. Very happy.

Great fit

Very pleased with these sneakers! They seem very sturdy, which is key for a young boy!

My 7 year old is very happy with these sneakers. He says they are comfortable and appear to fit him well. He likes the bright color although it isn't as eye blinding as I had expected! Very happy with the purchase, especially for the price!

Great shoe at a reasonable price for our little one who requires a slightly wide fit.

Love that zappos always has a descent assortment of wide shoes for lil ones. These are great. Added bonus, the velcro across the top is longer enough to keep the shoe from getting too tight. Something we came across with new balance. Would buy again.

Comfortable

We decided to try these after a not-so-good experience with Nikes which haven't lasted long at all in our experience with them and their mesh construction. So far so good. My son says they are very comfortable and cushiony. They have much better arch support than other kids' sneakers we have tried (which have been non-existent for arch support usually). My son doesn't have very wide feet but we got the wide because we read Saucony tended to be a little narrow, and they fit well.

Bought these for my 4 year old. He loves them. They are comfortable and stylish. We have bought sauconys in the past and are always happy with them.

I bought these for my three sons (different ages and different sizes). All have a wide base and narrow heel. These shoes fit very well. They are everyday shoes and not for extreme activities (like long distance running). The shoes are very attractive, and my boys are very happy to wear them.

Fit is just okay

These seemed to be great shoes but the fabric has come apart from the hook and loop fastener on the strap... making the shoes look sloppy and beginning to become non functional after only a few weeks of wear.

Fell apart too soon. The velcro on the closure strap came undone from the strap (stitching), and the mesh developed holes. No a particularly durable shoe.

The velcro completely came off these shoes after only three months, making them unusable.

Good fit. Son loves them but the Velcro closure completely came apart and he cannot keep them closed. They are practically new otherwise.

I usually buy my son sketchers shoes and they last until he outgrows them, maybe a little less than a year. I wanted something more stable for him and did research and decided on this shoe. It seems to fit well. However, within TWO weeks of wearing then, both the velcro strips holding the shoes on his feet peeled off. I had to stitch them back on, and they still came off, making it to get the shoe to stay on. Then, holes started to break in the toes, and now the entire front of the shoes are ripped open. It's only been 2 months since we got these, and really only 1 month since he wore them full time. If you have a child who does anything other than play inside gently, DO NOT GET THESE SHOES!

We had the same problem with the Velcro strap on these. Also blew a hole in one side in only a couple of months. Really disappointing, as Saucony had been our “go to” shoes for quite a while. Guess we’ll be trying another brand.

Buyer Beware....Velcro strap was torn apart after one month of use on both shoes rendering the shoes unusable. Disappointed in Saucony...
