I bought these booties in black late last year. They were very comfortable right out of the box... for hours. They are so comfortable that I also bought the gray ones and the taupe/tan ones. If there were more colors I would buy those too. No problems with zippers; very easy to put on and take off. I do use a medium weight sock with them; a heavier one would work also. Enough room for toes and good heel height. Cole Haan is one of my favorite brands, along with Born and Stuart Weitzman. If those brands fit you, so will these. I ordered my regular size. On top of all of that they are fun to wear and look great! Many compliments.

chose the stormcloud suede, size 5.5. i own several cole haans, and they're all different sizes based on styles (range from 5 to 6 - zerogrand & grandpro sneakers to nike air & zerogrand flats to the weekender loafers to boots). for these: the 6 was too large. the 5 looked perfect but felt a twinge tight. the 5.5 felt most comfortable off the bat... but for me felt a little long. i'm only 5 feet tall, so from my perspective, these make me feel like i have bigger / longer feet. for most people (aka: taller persons), this is unlikely to even pop into your minds. but as a smaller person, these small things can really make a big difference. regardless, i've been searching for several months for the perfect every day boot, and i ultimately came back to this pair. and i love them!

cute and very comfortable shoe compared to other boots i own at a similar price point. one negative is that the zippers slip down and need to be adjusted pretty frequently.

I’ve been having a tough time finding boots that fit since most seem to be too narrow for my feet. However, this boot is perfect! If I wear thin socks, this boot fits really well and doesn’t hurt to walk around in! I bought the Maple Sugar Suede color which is very well made and is also more beautiful in person than in person! I’ve very happy with this purchase and I highly recommend this bootie.

Love these boots! Ordered a half size down because of other reviews and glad I did. Right one seems a tiny bit tight, but I think it’s my foot. The more I wear them the better they get.

Beautiful boot but I ordered a 10 and had to send them back for a 9.5 and they fit much better. So think about ordering a 1/2 size down. They are also cheaper here then they are on the Cole Haan site - thank you Zappos!!

Very cute bootie. I usually wear 10, 10.5, 11 depending on the style and brand. Only option on size available was 10.5 so I ordered that but I believe a 10 would have fit better. They're a little big but a heavy sock will make them fit fine. I see they are $20 less than I paid for them now ?? but I'm still keeping them anyway. I'm very happy to find such a nice bootie without a high heel!

I love Cole Hann shoes! They fit my feet/ankles well. I read a few reviews that mentioned the wider ankle but it suits my leg well. I have another pair that are about 1/2 size smaller than my normal size. I'm between an 8-8.5 and the 8 fits well in both shoes. The color (Stormcloud Suede) was closer to gray than brown which was surprising, but I like it regardless. The lower heel makes it more casual so I plan to wear it on weekends/evenings as opposed to work. I definitely recommend!

This is a bit of an odd comment, but the right shoe seemed a bit bigger than the left. I’m a 7.5M in all Cole Haans, and the left shoe feels perfect. Even with a heavier sock, I slide a bit in the right shoe. I checked and both shoes are marked 7.5, and even though I wore them in the house first, the difference wasn’t apparent till I was outside walking a distance in them. Bad news is I’ve already worn them outside; good news was that I got them on sale, so at least I’m not out the full price. They are definitely a cute bootie, just wish they had more quality control in the sizing.

Full disclosure I have a shallow foot and a narrow heel, so finding a shoe that fits is difficult. Overall it felt really loose except in the toe which was cramped. Also the stiff Shaft hit my ankle bones all wrong. Sent them back.

I found the fit true to size but enough room to wear a heavy sock. They look sophisticated casual. I have had no issues with the zipper. The quality is very Cole Haan-like. Great price on Zappos!

I found that these booties came up quite high on my ankle. Too high for most pants, even if rolled up a bit or cropped.

Have many pairs of Cole Haan boots. Always wear a size 7 and they all fit perfectly. So I ordered these in 7 as well / what a mistake! Feel at least a 1/2 size bigger and ankle opening very wide. Need to wear a heavy sock with them.
