Finally a wide evening sandal that fits my widespread toes! I tried at least a dozen different shoes looking for anything that didn’t squish my toes or leave me with toes hanging over the edge of the sandal. The silver fabric is nice - sparkles without being too much. Looks well made and classy. I bought an 8 wide which is my normal size in Clark’s or Rockports.

Let me start by saying I am not terribly comfortable in high heels, but I needed a pair of dressy sandals for a formal event. A 2 1/2" heel is my max comfort level, so the description of this shoe sounded great in that regard. I have bunions and tried the medium and wide width in this shoe (size 7 1/2) to see which worked best. I ended up keeping the wide pair. They accommodated the extra width I needed in the forefoot and the top straps did a good job of hiding my bunions! The strap around the ankle was a bit too long to hold my ankle in place securely, and did not allow for another hole to be punched in order for me to tighten it. (The medium width ankle strap fit fine, so it was a trade-off and I opted for the width up front.) I liked the leather sole and would have preferred the straps to be leather as well, but for the price and my needs, the material was fine. I ordered the gold color and they matched very nicely with my gold/platinum dress. Luckily for me, Zappos carries numerous options in every imaginable shoe category to make my life less complicated!

I usually hate wearing dress shoes because they are so uncomfortable and I end up with aches and pains in my feet and legs afterwards. These shoes were not 100% pain-free, but they were MUCH more comfortable than others I've tried. I could stand in them for several hours without a problem, and they are super stylish.

These are very elegant looking. They give the image of a high heel in a lower heel design. I have foot issues and was able to wear these for 9 hours with no issue. I wasn’t standing the whole 9 hours, but I was on my feet for a good portion of the event. They are easy to walk in, too. My foot felt secure & stable in the shoe.

I ordered four pairs of evening shoes to try and these were the winners. I was looking for a low heel that the height is perfect. I love the T strap and they seem well made - unlike some glittery shoes I have tried. I wore them to a party last night and they were pretty comfortable considering they are brand new and my feet are pretty sensitive. I don't think I could wear them without hose though.

Toe strap a little too tight for a wide size. Felt some rubbing and pinching across toes while trying on which will only get worse through the evening. Just a warning… If you don’t like glitter these are not the shoes for you! The gold color is very pretty but the “leather” material up close looks a little chintzy… They are a too glittery for me. However if you need some zing and bling this could be a shoe for you. Nice quality overall sturdy, comfortable good heel size (not too high at all) for the mature wearer.

The shoe fit my narrow feet well, however every single edge of the narrow straps dug in and was very painful. I can't imagine trying to wear these for any length of time. I also felt very unstable in them. Usually a big Vaneli fan, but these were like some cheap off-brand. Totally missed the mark for a Vaneli shoe in that price point.

I was skeptical ordering shoes on line because I have a very narrow (AAA) foot. Ordered 2 pair of shoes: 8 and 8.5. Needed in a rush for a wedding. Was delighted when opening to see the quality of each pair. The 8 fit and boo hoo the gold 8.5 didn't. Pleasantly surprised at how comfortable the shoes fit. Wore all evening and no sore feet or slipping.

Love this shoe...heel is a tiny bit flared at the bottom and that makes the shoe a winner for me...also design is very soft and doable for after-five, weddings, special events etc...the only reason I gave comfort 4-stars is because I have plantar fasciitis.

First, I can usually wear any Vanelis size 8-1/2 N. This one is a perfect "dress up" or "dress down" shoe. I wasn't sure how to answer the Size question. It fits true to size mostly: the straps on the actual toe portion are a little large on my foot - I have a little more wiggle room there than I would like. Nevertheless, I will wear and enjoy them. "

the gold is brighter than in the photos, so it feels a bit too dressy for a regular night out, but other than that it's a great cocktail party shoe. pretty comfortable for it's cohort

The Maxine is true to size (I ordered 10.5M). The heel gives more support than expected; so, I feel very stable in them. I purchased the silver, which is bright/not “blingy”. Good value for a basic dress sandal that I will be wearing to a 50th high school class reunion.

This shoe is very comfortable, pretty and nicely made quality. They sit beautifully on your ankle without shortening your calf/shin as do some shoes. Heel is just right height.

Loved these shoes, not to tall of a heal and comfortable.

Lovely sandal heel for an important event. Much classier than I expected (and better than most shoes available in my size for formal wear). Silver is a "neutral" and goes with everything. The metallic sends the message of "black tie" formality. Comfortable enough to get me back into 2 inch heels.

Dressy. Perfect for a summer wedding. Almost as comfortable as casual sandals.

These shoes are just stunning. I had a hard time trying to get a photo that would do them justice. The silver is sparkly without being over-the-top. My normal high-heel size is a 10 and these fit perfectly. My toes are a bit wide even though the rest of my foot is normal, but fortunately for me the toe area was not too snug, and the straps cover my bizarre pinky toe. So far I’ve only worn them around the house, but I have not noticed any areas that rub or poke my feet. I could not be happier with these shoes.

The product feels good and comfortable. I thought I would have to put in inserts. Love the shoes! Dress up or down.

These shoes are great! But....I ordered another pair that looks better with the dress I'm wearing to a wedding.

Vaneli tends to run narrow for me, but this shoe works well and are very comfortable. I ordered my normal size to wear with a gown. They fit well with plenty of room near the toes and just enough heel to be flattering without being uncomfortable.
