Quality light weight sun glasses with superior lens. I use this pair for golf and outdoor activities. The fit is very comfortable and the don't fall off my face when I am leaning over the golf ball. Best Sunglasses I ever wore!

I've had a good few pairs of Maui Jim's over the years starting with the Wailea. I saw this pair of glasses in a store front and tried them on. I was struck by the vivid green of the lenses. I was surprised they were so light considering the lenses are glass. The clarity of these lenses is just amazing. These sunglasses are right on par with the great classic Maui Jim glasses.

Couldn't be happier with the pair of Shoal's I recently picked up. Just heavy enough with the superthin glass to know you're wearing them. Style with the Maui Green is cutting edge for sure. Maui Jim has done it again!! Definitely one of my favourite brands across the board. Basically a 10! Pretty much bathing your eyes in the elixir of life.

for my first pair of metal frame sunglasses these are great light fits your face doesn't slide off very comfortable to wear can't even tell your wearing them lenses seem to have 2 to 3 different shades which is very interesting to me. needless to say i would recommend these glasses to anyone

Although these did not fit my fat head and big round face, I did try em out for short spell fishing. You know you've got a good quality pair of sunglasses when you put them on and your eyes relax!

I have several pairs of MJs at this point, and in my defense, they are all unique in the sense that the lens material, application (sport/fashion) or the lens color is unique. So, this is my first glass lense with MJ. Despite the slight weight gain of glass, this particular style makes up for it by offering grippy notepads and temples. It's far from uncomfortable if the weight is a concern to you. And the nosepads keeps them in position on your nose. I live in Hawaii and if they didn't have the adjustable nosepads, they would slip down my nose. So, absolutely love the comfort of the style. The glass lens IS all that- outstanding. Quality of materials- same. I chose the new green lens color which I'm enjoying very much. I just hope that I don't start seeing that color everywhere like on my Blue Hawaii Mavericks. At least for the time being I feel kind of like the only guy with this lens color. Which makes me hope that it doesn't get applied to all of the fashion models later on so it continues to feel a bit special. In summary, could not be happier!!!!

While the style of these glasses definitely improve my appearance when I put them on, you won't belive how much better they make the rest of the world look from behind the lenses. Everything looks so much clearer and more colorful with them on, that taking them off reminds you that reality is a disappointment. You'll want to live in these glasses.

I have had Maui Jim's for the past 30 years and have always been thrilled with them, but was disturbed by some of the comments regarding the lens falling out while wearing them in my current Shoal model. So I will continue to watch and hopefully this issue will not occur with mine, and if it does, I hope the usual superb customer service I received in the past will be delivered to correct any unforeseen issues with the repair or correction of the problem. The only thing I'm not thrilled about with this model is the absence of the spring loaded arms as was standard in my earlier Maui Jim models which prevented any stretching of the frame.

They are sunglasses. If you wear them, they will do what normal sunglasses do.

Love the sunglasses- bought them for my husband and he looks great in them. I'm just a little worried- sometimes they make a crunching sound when he takes them off. This is the first pair of Maui's we've owned- is that normal?

I prefer my sun glasses to show the true colors that are around me and my Maui Jim Shoal neutral gray glasses do just that. They are crystal clear and enhance the surroundings with no distortion what so ever if this is what your looking for then these are the glasses for you. They are a little bit heavy but being a glass lens this can be expected hence the four star rating other wise they would have received five stars Maui Jim are undoubtedly the best sun glasses i have ever owned and they will always be my choice in the future.
