This shoe was ordered in W 6.5, for a boy that needs toe space. Never expected him to actually express that the shoes were comfortable. But, that’s exactly what he said and they didn’t need breaking in. They’re leather; soft and beautifully made.

My son had these dress shoes for dress uniform day at school last year (1 day a week). He always said they are comfortable and he likes the easy slip on/off feature of these shoes. When he outgrew then, he insisted I buy the same shoe for this year. Granted, he only wore them about 30 times (and not for PE or recess) but last year’s shoes were still in great shape so I passed them down to our neighbor.

The fit and size were true to sizing for my son. He likes the style and the comfort. The pricepoint was good for me. He is in a difficult size for boys - doesn't quite fit in boy's shoes and doesn't quite fit in men's shoes - and of course the sizing is a little different between the two. A size 7 in boys is not a size 7 in men - if you look at the European sizing and if you buy both of them (which I did), men's size 7 is a centimeter or two bigger.

My pre-teen son is very happy with this stylish dress shoe. It's nice and wide in the toe area which is great for him because he's prone to in-grown toe nails. Great quality, and true to size.

These fit perfectly in the wide width and really comfortable. My son loves them.

Perfect everyday shoe! My son chose these for his uniform shoe last year and demanded them again this year. They lasted an entire year with minimal wear. They are elegant and comfortable. He can run in them and are not slippery. He is now in 7th grade and I’m sure he lll wear this brand and style for years.

Great dress shoe for boys. My son wore this for a school performance and it was perfect. He was supposed to change back into his sneakers afterwards, but did not and said these were plenty comfortable to wear all day. I still wish he had changed to protect the “good shoes” - but honestly they were totally fine even after recess. Good purchase.

Bought in a rush for the son, as there were no local choices for wide feet. Shoes arrived just hours before needed, (were expected the next day but got lucky) and I got a coupon so cheaper than the too tight black on black Nike’s found local. Son said he felt like James Bond in them, said they were very comfortable, and was ready to wear them again. Needed thin dress socks to get them on. Win!

I am sure I've exhausted the shipping department ordering dress shoes for my 7-year-old grandson who has slightly strange feet--wide, sensitive, etc. I ordered this first in a 2, and it was gigantic. Swapped it for a 1, and it was still somewhat large, but came up too far on top of his foot, so back they both went. He and I both really liked the way they looked, but they were stiff and bothered his feet.

It took a while to find the size for my son. We have the same version but his feet got too big but he liked this style and comfort so much that we got the same size but larger. I am happy to see they have W options. As for the old pair, they fit me perfectly.... nice pair of old style loafers for a fashionable mom!

These shoes were a great addition to my son’s uniform last school year and I am back to buy them again for a new school year. The shoe outlasted the entire year which never happens with my rough son. Most of his Nike will possibly last two months before they are destroyed but these shoes kept on going after numerous running, jumping and recess playing in them. Great investment! If it weren’t for his growing feet I wouldn’t need to buy a new pair. We love how this shoe comes in a wide to fit his feet with ample room and the lack of laces that usually become undone fairly frequently.
