My son has Down syndrome and his feet are incredibly difficult to fit. This shoe was wide enough to be comfortable and not too long. It would be nice if Extra Wide widths were available but for a shoe he only has to wear on special occasions this has worked very well.

My son has high insteps and wide feet. Both make fitting shoes very difficult. This style accommodates for both—we'll see if any fit issues surface over time, but he says it feels comfortable out of the box, and the backing of the shoes don't dig into his heels. He likes the style of the shoe and intends to wear it regularly.

Does not fit. I have worn this size of shoe for over 50 years and have worn Flroshiem shoes for about as long. I plan to return them.

Excellent fit for a young man with small, wide feet. No break-in needed before wearing for 10 hours. They are not as dressy as Nunn Bush but more comfortable and stylish with a square toe.

True to size. My 14 yo son likes this shoe.

I have such a hard time finding shoes for my son, he has such wide feet. These shoes fit and look great! He measured a 6 but I went up to a 6.5 just so he could have growing room; they are the perfect fit! Thank you Zappos for always carrying wide width shoes!

I ordered these for my son who wears a 4 1/2, but they were a bit tight so we ordered a half size up & they fit perfectly.

These require some dedicated “breaking in” action. The tongue of the shoe has NO flexibility out of the box = discomfort. Beautiful shoe, well made. But… My son has always been very picky about his shoes. Needed these for a wedding he was in, and he refused to wear them. He looked like Frankenstein/a zombie when he tried to walk, simply because he had no flexibility in the brand new shoe and because the tongue of each shoe “stabs me when I try to take a step”.

The wrong shoe was sent. I received a Dickers brand instead.

I really wanted to like these shoes so I could keep buying the same ones for the school uniform. I bought our first pair in August. The stitching broke loose and they came apart at the toe within 2 months. I chalked it up to my kid being hard on them even though they still looked good. So, I bought a second pair in December, and by the last week of January, they also came apart, but this time the leather literally tore on the side. Poor quality.
