The best thing about the Maxlite carry-on bag is the smoothness and agility of the wheels. However, the biggest flaw is the telescoping handle which does not stay locked in the lower position, and is frequently sliding into different lengths.

I like the lightweight and the easy movement. Only negative is that if you put a heavy laptop in the front pocket it may tip over. Seems to be well made and of good quality materials. Plenty of places to hide my illegals and the like.

This was smaller than expected. I carefully measured both the inside and outside of the suitcase I wanted to replace, and ordered this one which was the same dimensions. Unfortunately it is much smaller, so will not be able to do the job. It is a very sturdy and attractive bag, and will fit in the overhead compartment. Easy to roll, the spinner wheels are excellent.

Looks very neat and professional, well made. I was very happy with the weight, very light weight! Expands to a good size, enough pockets to add those little extra necessities and have quick access to them. Only complaint is that some of the threading was sticking out so I had to cut it off. Great product!

Have used it only once. Need to use it more than that to give an accurate review. Suitcase (orchid color) got quite dirty during its first flight. How can I clean the fabric? After only one use, the suitcase does not look very new.

I really like my new carry-on. It is lightweight and easily traversed all different types of flooring. I like the different compartments and the two elastic straps. I bought the grey one. I was able to easily fit a weeks+ worth of clothes without having to use the zipper to expand the carry-on. I used over-sized ziplock baggies and rolled the air out instead of the compression bags. I took a star off because of two reasons - first I think the fabric should have been scotch guarded (I'm sorry I didn't think about that before I went on my current trip. My bag is filthy and has black marks on it.) and since I've only owned the carry-on for a week now time will tell if the quality is there. (This carry-on is replacing my old carry-on that I've had for over 15+ years.) Overall I'm very pleased with my purchase.

Great mobility but smaller than my older travelpro rollerboard carry on.

Excellent, lightweight, maneuverable, carry-on actually fits "standard" airliner overhead bins. Has room to pack most of the things I need for a short trip. The "spinner" feature is way superior to the older tow/behind style....the wheels are well-made engineered for the purpose.

I would have given it a Five star but felt the pink was too light in color. Had the purple one and did not get as dirty. So easy to move and so light weight .

I have this size Maxlite carry-on that I bought several years ago. I know the wheels are of a different style and there are a couple of other differences, but I feel the new one may be a little smaller. Has the capacity decreased over the past years?

I returned the suitcase because it was not as large as my Older Travelpro carry on. It was slimmer in size. The wheels started to go bad on my older suitcase so my husband rotated the wheels and I will continue to use my older model.

It was a good one. But we returned it and bought the new style Travelpro Elite. Both in 21 inches. The Elite style was better with more durable wheels and handle. It was also slightly bigger. The Maxlite had a side handle in unconventional ( perpendicular) angle.

This is a well designed suitcase with durability. The weakest part is the sliding handle which does not always slide smoothly.

Super easy to maneuver and exterior surface seems very durable. It's new to me so only time will tell. Don't understand why the expansion gusset on the base of the suitcase doesn't extend all the way around the frame. In other words, only a portion of the suitcase seems to expand? Regardless, it's worked out fairly well for two weekend trips as they carry on.

Very nice looking, looks like it will stand up to baggage handlers, moves very easily. I was disappointed that the interior was quite a bit smaller than my last bag.

I lwould like the outside pocket to open more like previously. I used to be able to fit 2-3 pairs of shoes in the pocket but no longer. I wanted the spinner in this size which was why I bought this one. I feel satisfied that I will like it because I love travelpro for its lightweight ness and it fits more than it looks. I can travel to foreign countries with this bag for 3 weeks. On and off trains. I have not found a better bag yet.

This suitcase is well made and very light. My only comment would be that I really would preferred a 22" or even 23".

Please with suitcase design, form and function. Very light and rolls well. Only negative was very strong smell in material inside and out,. Despite airing on screened porch for a week, the smell persists. It did not fit new 777-200 plane overhead bin wheels in or out. Suitcase had to be placed lengthwise to fit.

Just took my first trip with it. It is extremely light and glides effortlessly along all surfaces. The laptop/tablet pocket is exactly the convenience I was looking till for. We will see how it holds up but like if the construction and design so far!

The best thing about this carry-on suitcase is that it's very lightweight. I also love the two outside pockets and also the two inside zippered net pockets. The downside is that this 21-inch seems to be smaller than my former 20-inch of another brand, and the bottom end (the end by the wheels) is larger than the top end. I'm guessing this is so that the suitcase doesn't tip over when in the upright position.

I have not yet used it to travel, but I did try to pack for a recent trip--in the end, I needed a larger suitcase. However, I do like the design. It's roomy, and lightweight. I plan on using it for my upcoming 5 days in New Orleans and my international trip to London/Slovakia, which is less than a week. I think it will fit everything I need. It rolls well and seems to stay upright--my other rollerboard is a "tipper" and it doesn't have a side handle, making lifting awkward. So far I like it. But we'll see how it performs in real life--and how durable it is.
