I am thrilled with this suitcase, which upgraded my travels immensely! I would highly recommend this bag to anyone, and I think I'll hang up my travel backpack for good. I have traveled with a backpack since way back in the day when I was a younger woman, and I still have an Osprey backpack I've used as my main luggage. The truth is, I'm not that young anymore and my shoulders were always sore from weight, not matter how well constructed the pack was. After 3 weeks of lugging the latest backpack around Ireland for a month, and then another month in Portugal doing the same, I came away really envying the people I saw breezing through the airport, especially, with their roller bags. I travel carry-on only, of course, so I also need as much space as possible. But I'm not always on American carriers, so I needed to make sure this bag would work on most international carriers as well (I'm not sure about discount airlines like Ryan Air, but reviewers seem to have gotten this smallest, 20 inch case through, which is partially why I chose it). I've only taken one trip with it so far, but it far exceeded my expectations. Honestly, this first trip is one that would have been great with a backpack, as it was 2 weeks in Belize, and a tropic vacation meant I didn't need to take much. I debated just going with the backpack, but I'm delighted I didn't. This suitcase did beautifully! It's just slightly lighter than my osprey travel pack, but it also has slightly more packing space, which is super valuable for me--and for this trip, which I packed particularly lightly for, I didn't even need to expand the bag, and on my return, I even had extra space, as I left a couple of things behind. I could easily use this for a month's worth of travel clothes (I'm a light packer). It was easy to lift into the overhead bins, both because the bag is light, but also because the two handles are very well placed, making it easy to lift the bag above my head, and it also is easy to retrieve for the same reason. It was great in the airports--glides well. and it survived a variety of dubious surfaces in Belize, from sandy streets to dubious paving and grass. And it appeared as good as new after being stowed with the other luggage on the little Cessna island hopping flights, and riding in the back of a truck. It's absolutely fabulous and improved my traveling life immensely. Score!

Haven't had the opportunity to use it yet but seems to be the perfect size. The slightly wider size makes up for the shorter length in capacity. Can't wait to use it. I have had Travelpro for years in various sizes. Wanted to transition to carry on only and this is light weight to handle. Travel pro quality is top of the line.

Perfect international carry on bag. Using packing cubes and coordinating back pack, I had room for clothes for one month. Highly recommend.

Well made carry on. The outside pockets are very helpful, as is the expandable portion. The color is lovely. I prefer this 2 wheel over the 4 wheel spinner types of luggage. I can set a carry on bag on top and it rolls very easily.

I am very pleased with the features of this luggage. I did a trial pack and feel this style will definitely accommodate my requirements to continue to be a carry on only flight passenger

I took this suitcase on a flight to Europe as carry-on and was very happy with it. The size is just right, the zippers and build are solid, and the handle and wheels roll well.

Love travel proretired my last Travel pro after many years & a million miles. Purchased the newest version of the same bag as a replacement.

Light, plenty of space, flexible, well built, and too boot looks pretty good!

This bag held up very well on my international flight and I had no problem using it as a United carry on bag. I wheeled it over cobblestones and up and down escalators, on uneven pavement, etc. with no problems, and the wheels are holding up very well. The inside is well designed and even when fully packed, was not uncomfortably heavy.

Perfect size for Icelandic air since they are smaller than most.

When I opened the carton and saw how small this bag was, I didn't think it would hold enough for a three-week trip (with a couple of laundry loads while I was gone). But as I traveled, the suitcase seemed to grow because it held so much. It was lightweight and easy to maneuver into an overhead rack even when stuffed full of clothes and souvenirs. Between this carry on and the matching women's backpack, I was able to travel with ease. Four plane rides and five train rides later, I couldn't be happier with how well this Travelpro back worked out.

Nice and light to roll and lift. The handle operates nicely. I'm happy with my purchase. This is my 2nd Maxlite5. Will purchase again.

This was my first Travelpro purchase. The perfect size for a quick trip. I love this bag. It's easy to get through the airport, super durable, and nice to look at. I LOVE IT!

It's lightweight and holds at least four days of outfits and there is still room for a cosmetic bag and one pair of shoes. The navy and brown combination is stylish and smart looking.

Size is great. A weeks worth of travel fits nicely.

The Travelpro Max-lite luggage is so light it allows for packing more necessities and staying within weight requirements for all airlines. All pieces colors match are are easy to identify at Airport luggage claims. The variety of pockets make sorting easy and efficient.

Love this luggage! It's extremely lightweight (just over 5 lbs), attractive. and appears to be very durable. The zipper compartments works well for me, Also the wheels seem very sturdy and perfect for pulling over the cobbled steets of Europe as well as through airports. We have other Travelpro luggage snd have always been extremely pleased with their products Highly recommend!

Well made for such a light bag. Anxious to try it on an International trip

I am so impressed by the spaciousness and handling of this piece! I reluctantly got it over the 22", thinking I'd probably regret the compromise on size. Not at all! I am a determined packer with packing cubes I trust, and it fits clothes for 2wks (spring/summer; sweaters would probably bring it down to a week). And it's so light, and handles very smoothly! Cannot recommend highly enough.

Very light weight and rolls easily. Perfect size for a carry-on.

I am extremely happy with this carryon. the rolling is perfect and the compartments are more useable than anything I have had before.

This suitcase worked great for a two week trip to Greece. I was able to pack all I needed in it, and carry it on.
