Love this dress. It looks very classy and it's extremely comfortable. I'm 65, 5' 7" and overweight. I'm always looking for clothes that make me look slim and this does. Fabric doesn't cling are wrinkle. It appears to be a great dress for travel. I wish it came in more colors.

I love this dress - perfect for work or dress-up situations. I’m 5’4” and 140 lbs so I ordered the large but it was too big - so I ordered the medium and it is perfect.

I have a very distinctive pear figure and this dress was very flattering! I dressed it up with a necklace and long pink scarf. The material is easy to wear. I understand others reviews if this brand in that the ends of the sleeves and hem are not banded or finished in a way many dresses are; however, this was not an issue for me and I didn’t feel the dress looked cheap or unfinished. I am 5’9” and LOVED the length of the dress. I wore lower 2” dress heels with it and could have worn higher ones or wedges. The dress offers such great versatility that I feel it was worth the price.

The model manages to convey a look of sleek elegance in the dress, but when I tried it on it just looked like something an old lady would wear to a funeral. Also I thought the fabric was rather cheap and flimsy for the price.

I absolutely love this dress! I bought the small and it is perfect. The fabric is soft with just enough stretch. I'm 5'8" and the length is perfect also. The neckline is a bit higher then pictured but still is nice.

I love this designer and have another dress and a top. Unfortunately, this dress did not work. I am 5'6", 130 lbs, long waisted and have a proportionally small waist (often have a gap in jeans). The small was too big around the ribs and waist and the waist seam was oddly halfway between my natural waist and underside of my chest. I then ordered the XS. I got a totally different dress. The tag was not actually attached so not sure if someone returned a cheaper dress and kept the expensive dress or if an honest mistake was made. The quality was good and would have kept it if it fit.

Gorgeous dress. Unfortunately, it didn't fit me but it's well worth the money. The only possible downside is that the fabric is very heavy. So, it's well made but could be very warm because of the weight of the fabric. It had an elegant drape. Very disappointed I couldn't keep it.

The fabric is wonderful......not too thin......not too thick. It doesn't wrinkle and feels so nice against my skin. It will be great for travel. The shoulders and sleeves fit me perfectly which is pretty unusual. I am 5'1", wear a 32DD bra and the small fit me perfectly.

Love the dress but it runs big. Going to reorder in smaller size. Which there was ability to exchange.

I love this dress. The size 12 fits perfectly and though I have not worn it yet, it is perfect for any event simply by changing jewelry or scarves. It runs a little longer than I usually wear, but styles are getting longer, and after wearing dressy pants for a very long time, it feels good to get into a longer dress.

This was a huge disappointment. Another reviewer wrote that the dress has a bizarrely placed waist, and I can confirm that as truth. The material is unforgivingly clingy, but if you've got the figure to rock it... you still wouldn't be able to because you'd look like you were trying to strut around in a black, heavy shapeless nightie. The sleeves are oddly short and the material edges aren't finished, or at least not finished in any kind of polished way. The only person I would recommend buy this would be someone with mad sewing skills to make some alterations to bring it back to some kind of normal dress. I would swear, based on other reviews, that the dress I got was defective or something it was so weird.

I love this dress! For me, it's the perfect black dress. I have already worn it several times, each with a different look. It can be casual or dressy, and travels well. The fabric drapes well.

The material is flattering, has a nice drape to it without being clingy at all. I didn't mind the "raw" hems at all. They're finished so they don't fray and I felt like it was a nice touch, laying completely flat....at least in theory because this dress runs so large that it was baggy in most places. As someone with an hourglass figure, this type of fit and flare dress is usually quite flattering. I can see if you have a straighter shape, it might not work for you, like some reviews said. But, I think if they had my right size, I'd have kept this as a basic black dress. I feel like it would work with a cute belt and boots or as a more "serious" dress for an event.

While the body of the dress fits, the sleeves are way too long, and it is ankle length rather than what is pictured. I am 5'5" tall.

I found this dress to run a little small through the mid section but to be expected when you see it on the model. I did not like all the unfinished edges. The fabric is nice but overall it just wasn't as nice as I had hoped it would be. And for the price, I thought it should be better finished. I returned it.

The dress lays on body very different from the photo. It is too large and too long to ankle + (5'4") and hugs the body all in the wrong place. It doesn't have the elegance that the photo shown. The seam that cuts the top and the skirt lands in a very awkward position and enhances the wrong parts of the body. The materials seems soft, but very thin materials.

Frankly, the wrong dress was sent so I can't really comment

This is a beautiful and very flattering dress! I really love it. The fabric is heavy enough that it’ll travel and wear well. The fit is perfect and the flare is fun and so pretty. I’ll get a lot of wear out of it!

I’m pear shaped & ordered a Small 36. Looked great but a little too form fitting. Ended up with a medium & it’s wonderful! Elegant as is. Also easy to pair with belts or sashes.

PERFECT FIT AND QUALITY FABRIC

This is a lovely, well made dress. However it was not as flattering on my body as I had hoped. I returned it, but got a gorgeous Karen Kane Artisinal dress from Zappos that fits me very well.
