I just returned from a 3-week trip with this suitcase and a backpack as carry-on luggage to Europe. Two of our hotels did not have an elevator and this suitcase was light enough for me to carry up 3 and 4 flights of stairs, with the backpack. (I'm 64 yrs. young). I was able to pack a lot of clothes, shoes, and toiletries in this. 2 long jackets, 1 pair of dress pants, 5 dress tops in the garment section. 7 tops, 1 sweater, 2 scarves, 2 pairs of jeans, 10 pairs of socks & underwear, 2 bras, 1 pair of ankle boots, flip flops, a toiletry bag, a travel hair dryer, and a large round brush in the other section. (All of this is just in the suitcase). All of the tops and jackets were very lightweight and thin material. The garment folding system worked well for me in this bag also, with very few wrinkles. The bag had to be checked when flying from countries inside the EU but not when traveling to the EU or back to the USA from the EU. If I could have the same room in this bag as you get with 4 wheels and still carry it on, I would have opted for 4 wheels, but I did not have any problems with the 2 wheels. Plus the 2 wheels worked great on the cobblestone streets. I did not use the expandable option with this as I wanted to make sure I could fit it in the overhead, which I had no problem doing. I am so glad I did my research and purchased the Platinum Elite Carry-on Rollaboard. It worked out better than I expected.

Selected as it has a double rod handle for stacking a smaller bag.

I have an older model myself maybe 15 years now and it is still in great shape and love the way my dressy clothes and blouses come out of the bag looking great.I bought this new one for my husband. It's still top quality but actually prefer my older model style because it can pack a little more. But I think the Travelpro is still this best on the market at a very good price.

I have used this bag on four trips so far and have been very pleased. Fits well in overhead bins even when expanded. I havent used the charging pocket, I need to purchase a charger to go into the pocket. I have been very carful with the product as it seems to nice. For sure the nicest bag Ive ever owned. Only change Id suggest to Travelpro would be for the side of the bag, opposite the handle, to have a protective slider like they have on other models.

Product was fine. Changed plans. We returned it. And still waiting for a return $ to our account.

This is my third travel pro bag. I replaced my 2011 platinum 22 inch roller aboard with this version. And could not be happier. The stability when it is vertical is rock solid. There is about 5-10% more space inside and packs very well. I travel seven months of the year and have already taken this bag on three trips, I am exceptionally happy with it.

Right out of the box, I packed and took the Platinum Elite on a 10,000-mile,10-day trip. No problem finding spaces for beach, casual, and casual-dress clothing and accessing it. In addition to the main compartments, the externally accessed compartments were very convenient. The large wheels of the rollerboard and robust, adjustable handle made for easy, stable handling.

This is a well made carry on travel suitcase. I was given one as a gift and just bought the same one for my son. I love it.

This is a fine piece of carry on. Have used it on a trip to buffalo. Beautifully crafted and no too heavy. Like everything about it.

Do not find the external battery pocket useful. The larger short external pocket on the front face should be 7" + deeper to allow a 8"x11" to lie flat.

I really like the rollaboard. It was easy to use, rolled easily and fit in the overhead bin. The one challenge I had is a place for shoes. Otherwise, I was able to fit winter clothes for a 4-day trip in the suitcase.

Used this one now. Great product. Just what I expected from TravelPro. May not need the hanging clothes component but it is removable. Sturdy wheels and handles, which is important to me.

The best bag EVER! I bought one for my husband, but I was stealing it so often I had to buy one for myself. The gray with brown leather looks classic and rich, but also makes you look like you are super cool, well traveled and literary. I love it so much and it is super functional.

So far I love this bag. It's light in weight and a good size for someone who is sometimes challenged getting her bag up into the storage above my seat. It's elegant, too! I have a question about replacing the plastic bag inside. I spilled something in it on the first use. Sheesh!

Soooooo lightweight compared to my last suitcase! It was easy to lift into the overhead compartment and it rolled easily in the airport. Perfect luggage for a weekend getaway !

Great carry-on. Very roomy for the size. Nice features like the suit folder and removable toiletry bag.

This is our 6th Travelpro piece of luggage and they are great.

Great size big enough for a 4 day business trip and still easily fits in the overhead. , When I use packing cubes I can get a weeks work of clothing. The wheels are very smooth and the handle is sturdy looking forward to using it for many years.

I've bought my second set. The first one took years of use and abuse. It has been even better than the original recommendation. And no one bothers me looking at the logo. When I did finally wear thru a handle, the service department was there with a new one. Enjoy yours.

Super well appointed and organized. This bag is for my husband who travels frequently for both business and pleasure. I finally found one that has a built in hanging organizer and is big enough for a 6'2" man's suit coat. I have tried several brands and types of suitcases to replace my husband's Tumi bag of over 20 years, which is falling apart. This one finally fit the bill! It appears to be very good quality, but of course only time and use will tell.

I've had 2 previous versions of this bag which I've used for the past 30+ years of frequent domestic and international travel. These bags are great and I expect the same from this new bag which has a much better design than the previous versions.

This bag is the perfect size for easy carry. While I have not yet traveled with it, I know I will be able to take all that is needed for a week-long trip due to the roominess. Also, being able to charge electronics from the bag will be awesome. I want to get the matching backpack but it is out of stock. Hurry up, Travel-Pro and replenish your stock.
