I am leaving this review because I am a big fan of Ryka products--shoes created by women for women. I purchased this shoe for my sister-in-law who is not easy to fit or please at her 83 years. We could not find shoes for her in a regular shoe store. Zappos was my last resort. She wears a wide/extra wide shoe. These fit her the best because of the more narrow heel. Every shoe she tried on was either not wide enough or her heel kept slipping. She also would not wear a shoe that in her mind would make her feet look big. These fit her well, are not "heavy" and is stretchable if her feet swell. This review is submitted because we finally found a shoe that is acceptable!

I have lots of foot problems and am always looking for a shoe with good support. In fact, I needed a shoe to wear on my good foot while I wear an aircast boot on the other. Shoes with good support are usually spendy but these have nice firm support and are not squishy at all. I read the insole was removable for my custom insoles, but may just leave the originals in. Also, i was looking for a shoe that was similar in height to the aircast to balance me out, and these did the trick. More utilitarian than cute, but feel super good on the feet (or foot, in my case).

These are not your usual athletic shoe. I purchased the black. The fabric is similar to what a windbreaker is made from and appear to be quilted layers. They have a weekend outing vibe. By the pics these may be constructed out of a different type of fabric depending on which color one may buy. I have a difficult to fit foot and high arch. I usually wear an 8 1/2 wide to 9 wide depending on the type of shoe. These are slightly snug width wise. Possibly if they stretch out a little socks are possible. Not sure if I will be keeping them. The arch support is exceptional though, so I am torn on what to do.

I really like these shoes! Warmer than running shoes. I like wearing them while I'm working at my standup desk, and they feel like slippers with support. You could wear them walking on sidewalks, but I wouldn't wear them on a hike.

I like these shoes a lot. They're comfortable, fit well, good for walking. They're not cute or glamorous, not really, but I don't need them to be. It's all about practical comfort, and they score high with me there.

i wear Ryka Devotion sneakers for step class- they make it possible for my feet as I get older.....I ordered these as a back up to another Ryka slip-on style that looked a little more polished- the polished style was too narrow, and actually was not all that flattering or comfortable. The Adel looked maybe too casual in the photos- it looks much better on my feet! Feels awesome. The sole is not a bright white, and I actually like it better. These turned out to be just what I was looking for!

Exactly what I wanted. Looking for a sneaker look, warm, water resistant, comfortable shoe to wear inside and outside. So many look clunky with clompy soles...not these, look sleek and I wore them shopping all day, kept my feet warm outside and not too warm for inside. Usually wear Sketchers 7.5 and these 7.5 Ryka fit the same.

These shoes fit my criterion of feeling like they were already my own when I first put them on. Very comfortable with soft fleece lining and good support.

I wore these to work as soon as they arrived. My feet loved them & all of you size 11 girls will appreciate how flattering they are. I plan to purchase more of this brand if they hold up well after a few months.

I love these shoes. I got the alpine green color, which is very neutral, and I can wear it with almost anything casual. They look good - somewhat funky - and they feel good. The only problem I have isn't their problem, but mine. When my feet swell, they are extremely hard to get on. Other than that, I can find nothing negative to say about them. I definitely recommend them for casual wear.

I usually wear lace up shoes for support and stability. I am seeking slip on shoes to wear on vacation in Japan, where I will need to remove my shoes in certain sites. After trying several other options, these shoes seem to fit the bill. I’ve added super feet insoles and am finding they provide pretty good support for a slip on shoe. They are comfortable, fairly nice looking, and a good value.

Looking for a lightweight shoe that you can slip on and go? This shoe is perfect! I have had a problem with other shoes being too tight across the top of my foot, causing my feet to feel "pinched" even though the size and width were right. The Ryka Adel is almost like wearing a pair of slippers, but with good support at the same time. I Love Them!

My shoes fit exactly like they should. The material is soft and the color is exactly like the picture i looked at before i bought them. The rubber souls are super sturdy! Everything about them is what i expected them to be! I'm very happy and satisfied with my purchase. They arrived at my door when they were promised and i love that they arrived UPS! UPS never disappoints!

This is a great casual shoe. It is very light weight and has a soft material around the inside of the collar. It has a decent arch support insert; I would not feel the need to change out to my own orthotic insert. The body of the shoe is cloth, with a tag that reads "water repellant" but also has an edge all around of a leather-like material which would help keep the fabric from getting wet if you walk through puddles. The sole seems like it would have pretty good traction. I am returning the shoe only because I need extra wide to accommodate my bunion comfortably. This shoe only comes in Med. and Wide. The wide has a pretty generous toe box, just a little too snug for my issue.

They fit true to size. They are a basic shoe for going from home to gym, would not wear them to exercise in. Very easy to slip on, very comfortable. They are a little shiny looking, but supposed to be water resistant. I would recommend them for someone looking to just slip on a pair of shoes to go to the store or gym.

Would have loved to be able to keep these but the heel was so wide it would not stay on. They are very cute in a dorky sort of way and very comfortable, more like slippers. If you have a wide heel, these will be worth a try.

Nice shoe, comfortable except too short in the length.

Perfect for dog walking, & dog park. Comfortable. I had no trouble getting into these with my high arches! No break-in required.

These shoes are so comfortable, no break in period

I love this shoe so cute and comfortable. It did take a few times to wear to break in. Now that they are and there’s no more rubbing on my heal It’s a great shoe. I feel it runs a bit small. I would size up. Thanks Zappos for the great selection and awesome customer service.

Perfect fit right out of the box. I wore it walking the first day with ease and comfort. I would definitely purchase again and recommend to friends.

The fit is good, a little tight one the left one but I think it will work itself out. Love the style too. Great price not too expensive.

Very comfortable. On my feet a lot and wear them to work in. I really love them.
