Gorgeous! This bag is way better in person, pic below does not do it justice because of the flash, the leather smells amazing, so glad I chose this one instead of another very popular Brand. Leather has some natural Scratches which add even more character to the bag. The strap length is very comfortable, will be good for travel, when its full it will still be comfortable To carry. Color is a bit darker than in my photo but definitely not as dark as photo from zappos or fashionAble’s site.

I have the black Mamuye tote, and I love everything about this bag. I love the faded, vintage, weather-beaten look of the black tote. I love the uneven way the strap is sewn on the bag. I love the waxy feel of the leather. I love the big pocket in the bag. I love the smell of the bag. The bag looks handsewn. It looks like it was made in someone's basement. I love it more than every name brand bag I have. I would trade my $ 1000.00 bag any day of the week for this bag. Able DO NOT change a thing about this bag. I did not buy this bag at Zappos, I got it for a discount at another store. My bag is imperfect and has some writing inside the bag, a stamp of some sort and I love that. This bag is beautiful, comfortable to carry and I load it up with books, purse stuff, notebooks, water bottles, lunch, sweater. I love the story behind the bag. The bag is primitive art to me. The straps are wrinkled and comfortable and light to carry when loaded. It is perfection. Thank you Able for my perfect tote.

Cute basic tote, but the finish of the leather didn’t seem durable at all. The tote came to me with several large and obvious scratches, and I wasn’t sure this would even last a season before it was trashed. The leather looked like it would get ruined by anything that rubs against it, or even water droplets. Too bad, as I like to support companies that are contributing to the good in the world. But it’s just too expensive for the quality.

Very happy with this purchase. The leather is soft and has a bit of a worn look, which I like (my kids wondered why I bought an old bag :). It feels sturdy and fits my usual cargo, including laptop.

Beautiful bag! Reviews on the manufacturer’s website were all great. Bag is nicer in person than on the website. Smells amazing too!
