To preface my review, I've been wearing Mephistos sincd 1993 and own 12 pairs at present - all kinds of styles. The Yelina was poorly put together. The interior stitching hurt the top of my foot, the arch support was weak and sole was not cushioned well as all the other pairs I have. I sent them back - were surely not worth over $200.

At first I loved these shoes, but now the edging along the round upper edge of the toebox is killing me! It's very unforgiving and doesn't stretch. It's so uncomfortable after a short time and hurts my foot a lot. I am so sorry I kept these shoes and got rid of the box so I can't return them. I hope I can find a shoe repair person who can stretch them so I'm no in agony. BEWARE!

I was surprised that the styling was so unattractive and the arch support was so poor. The heel width was way too wide. I had ordered 1/2 size smaller, but it was still much too large.

These shoes are adorable! I love them and they are very comfortable. They do run a bit large. I typically wear a size 8 (38) which I had to return. I then ordered a 7.5 (37.5) which were also too large, so I had to return them. I finally ordered a 7 (37) and they fit great. They are very well made and sporty with the white soles. The sizing issue may not be typical of Mephisto as I also have a size 8 (38) in a lace up which fit fine.

Love these shoes and I was really happy to find them in the light gray. They do run a little large, but I tried on the size smaller and my toe bumped up against the tip. The fit fine with my personal orthotics or with an added pad in the front part of the shoe.

Mephisto has become my go-to walking shoe. Reliably a 9 in a closed shoe, had to order a whole size down for fit. Good support and a stiff sole for comfortable walking. Not too soft.

This lot is clearly mis-labeled. I am reliably a size 9 in Mephisto closed toe shoes. The 8 is at least a half size too big.

Typical Mephisto quality - top notch. I wear them everywhere.

Great shoes! They look equally well with jeans or dresses. I found them a little wider than the typical Mephistos, but put a padded insole under the one that came with the shoe. Worked well. I might have to get the red ones!

Mephisto shoes are the most comfortable I’ve found for my problem feet.

I liked the shoes a lot but they are way to wide for my foot. Wish they were narrower as they are very comfortable.

I purchased them for a trip where I needed to have comfortable walking shoes. The toe box was really too roomy for my skinny toes. But my main reason for returning them was that the cushion/lining in the heel was not comfortable on me.
