Shoe came used. They were not even in a Ecco Box. Horrible quality control. I was told I would receive a call this past Monday from Marcus but never received a call. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM ZAPPOS. POOR QUALITY CONTROL.

Very comfortable, however heel pull tab sticks up too high, and makes it impossible for a pant leg to drape normally. The heel tab catches and hangs up the pant leg in the back.

This is my second pair of Ecco Hybrids. I also have the Plain Toe in Cognac for which I wrote a review for customers to consider in properly sizing of this style shoe. Many reviews suggest that the size listed was too big. I have worn Ecco 44's for many years, and the Hybrid sizings is right on target, provided ones sizes the shoe correctly using the ball of the foot for proper fit. The ball should hit right where the shoe bends when the foot is flexed by moving the heal up. These shoes are tapered more than the older style Ecco shoes, and the actual toe box is just behind the taper. So, the shoe looks as though it is a fraction of an inch long, but isn't. However, if the ball of the foot lies in front of the bend, the shoe really is too short and may cause problems later with use. I have a high arch, and the width of my foot is a full medium (not quite a wide) in well-made shoes. I stand and walk quite a bit, and wearing these shoes is like being on air soles. Plus, the support is very good both at the arch and at the front of the arch where it meets the metatarsals. There is no foot fatigue after a day's use, wearing the shoes essentially right out of the box.

Overall, nice style. The heel is a bit high and the show overall rather heavy - may look like a sneaker sole but definitely much heavier than a sneaker or even my Ecco loafers.

I generally wear a size 10 (sometimes a 10.5) in most shoes. I have one other pair of Eccos in size 43 (9-9.5). I purchased these in the same size, 43, assuming they'd fit. They are easily a size bigger. So, I'm ordering a size 42, assuming/hoping they'll be the right fit. Other than that the shoes are very nice looking. Quality seems excellent. (It should be, they ain't cheap). They are comfortable, but the sides and back may just be a little high. Hoping the smaller size will rectify that. Either way, not a deal breaker.

This model seemed more narrow than previous ECCOs. Love the show so I’m exchanging for next size up.

I purchased this pair for a trip to Paris, the trip has been cancelled but I am keeping the shoes, excellent construction, looks and comfort, I agree with other reviews that it runs larger, I ordered one size smaller than my usual and it fit perfect. Love the shoes, its like walking on clouds.

Okay, my daddy taught me to never skimp on shoes, and pay for quality. These are quality shoes. I use these shoes for work. I am a patient escort for a large hospital. 55 miles of hallway hospital. I average 13 miles of walking a day for work. These shoes were comfortable from the get go. Soft cushion, great support, bottom of sole has an extra thin layer of hardness to slow wear. Classic wingtip look. My co-workers typically spend $150 for Rockports that last 12 months. I already know these shoes are cruising past that mark.

This is me fifth pair of Eccos and my second pair of the ST1 Hybrid. I own several pair of CH Zerogrands and ty her is NO comparison. The Eccos are superior in every way in my opinion. Looks, quality of craftsmanship, quality of materials and the comfort. These are by far, the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned in this category.

Felt a little big. Also no it came in looked worn. Shoes didn’t come with the Ecco leathery tag I am accustomed to seeing. I think they were bought before and returned.

A heavier shoe than others in my arsenal. Side by side with a Florsheim the shoe looked an entire size larger. Will return and order size down. However, the leather is of high quality and the overall appearance of the shoe is great. I have plantar fasciitis and I can tell these will help.
