this is a beautiful shoe that I bought to wear to our son's wedding. Unfortunately, when I stand in the show, the top portion of the shoe was rubbing into my toes. I wear an extra wide and perhaps this is a better shoes for a narrower foot.

This is a beautiful shoe, elegant. It is also very flattering on the foot - even a wide foot. It will be perfect for the formal nights on my up coming cruise. There is no footbed padding so I plan to add some under the ball of the foot. I took off a star for that. It is fabric covered heel so I would not wear outside.

I tried the shoe on as soon as it arrived. I loved it; it looked gorgeous, but I can't address fit and size since I could not buckle the strap that goes around the back of the foot so I've returned it. The strap needed to be about 1-inch longer. This isn't the first time that I've had this problem with this style of shoe in general. It seems that designers assume that the heel projects much further from the back of the leg than it does, at least for this women. Why can't they make the strap longer? It could then be cut shorter by purchaser if it is too long!

After an embarrassing number of Zappos shoe returns, I have finally found the perfect shoe for two upcoming events. With my wide foot and bunion, this was THE shoe that fits perfectly, is stylish and graceful, and feels secure enough so that I can dance all night. The heel is just high enough to be elegant, but at a height that makes for hours of comfort.

I have about 5 pairs of David Tate shoes for special occasions and it has been my "go to" brand. This shoe was not comfortable and did not fit the same as the other David Tate shoes. I'm going to return them. The sole is hard and it felt like walking on blocks I can't imagine wearing them to a wedding. :(

Love this shoe! I have a difficult time finding extra wide shoes that are stylish and feel good on my bunion foot. These shoes are just that! I had a first ordered them in my usual size of 8.5WW but they were too tight and too short. I reordered them in a size 9WW and they fit perfectly!

Lovely shoes but very small. I always wear a 9 Medium but could hardly get my feet into these. Returned them.

Bought shoes for a formal wedding. The shoes looked like depicted in the photos and were perfect for my dress. Strap holes to buckle were a little tight at first but managed to get them buckled. Not used to wearing heals anymore so I was ready to take them off 6 hours later. I would recommend them though. Felt they were true to size and width. Great for prom, a wedding or any other formal dress occasion.

Took a chance on these and am glad I did. Definitely runs small but I went up a whole size based on other comments. Beautiful & comfortable.

I'm sorry that some women had a hard time with these shoes, because they were just perfect for me. Just the right height for my dress, I wore them for hours without discomfort. Thanks, Zappos!

I love this shoe! It fits well and looks great on my foot! Very comfortable too!

My daughter is getting married in March, 2023. I ordered these shoes to go with the dress I had purchased, I needed navy heels, not too high, not too low, to go with the navy dress. Navy shoes are very hard to find, especially in a size 11. These are absolutely the most beautiful shoes I have ever owned! They are perfect! I can't wait to wear them at the wedding!

Beautiful shoe and quite comfortable. The sides near the toes has mesh, which is comfy too. Lovely color.

I have wide feet that are hard to fit and these were comfortable for a whole wedding and reception. I like that there was netting between the side straps to provide more support.

I ordered 8.5 evening sandal because I have a bunion. This shoe vas so perfect, sophisticated and comfortable that my bunion does not show. It has a transparent material that holds the foot and the straps don't cut through. Good now slip sole.

Fit and size was perfect. I have a wide foot with a bunion on one of my feet, so finding shoes I like and that fit is harder than ever. These look gorgeous and I can't get over how comfortable they are, even with my wide foot. Love them!

I wear a WW shoe and there were wide enough. Unfortunately, they are too short. I have never had this problem before. My previous pair of David Tate shoes (from 10 years ago) was a 7.5, which are now too small. This time, I ordered an 8.5. The shoe says 8.5, but the box says 8.5 and 8 on two different labels, so maybe it is just this pair. Or maybe David Tate shoes now run a little short. Width is great though. If you have wide feet but still want to dress up, David Tate is the way to go.

Comfortable and pretty

This is a beautiful shoe!! It was comfortable and true to size. The crystals glittered in the light. I had to return it because the color wasn't a correct match but I would highly recommend this shoe. The picture doesn't do the shoe justice.

I have bunions and have a difficult time finding shoes, especially dress shoes, that are stylish and comfortable. These shoes are exactly that! They are wide enough and comfortable enough to accommodate my extra wide feet. I did find that I had to order a size 9 instead of my usual 8.5.

Fit true to size. Walking was very easy

Cute. Seems like they would be very comfortable. For some reason I can’t wear a sling backs, and these are no exception.

These fit nicely. Probably not my favorite with a pointy toe but they do look cute.
