The she fit really well and was comfortable. The problem is that the sole separated from the shoe after several weeks of wear. I wish that was not the case based on the price point of Mephisto shoes.

Great amazingly comfortable and nice looking shoe. My husband bought in both colors but RUNS VERY BIG! He usually wears a 10.5 (in mephisto & other brands) and bought a 9 in these!!

Thank you Zappos and Zappos customers for prior reviews. I ordered a full US size smaller / European 1.5 sizes smaller than I would normally based on prior reviews. The shoes literally fit like a glove and are so comfortable! They look great too. I am a huge fan of Mephisto and am very glad I bought these.

Beautiful shoes which feel fantastic on the feet. I'm on my feet a lot at work and they are exactly what I need to keep my feet happy. Note: despite what the description says, they do run large. I tried a 1/2 size down although returned those for a full size down to get the correct fit.

Very nice shoes. Based on the reviews, I had ordered my regular size, as well as a half size and full size smaller. Turns out the shoes were true to the size of my other Mephisto shoes, so no worries that this model deviates from the norm. As for comfort: they’re absolutely sublime. Great warm weather shoes that are easy to slip on sans socks and still look stylish, regardless of attire. This is my sixth pair and I adore Mephisto shoes.

Love them. I buy two pairs at a time for safety. On my third or fourth set. Hope Mephisto keeps Valter forever. Or at least ten - twenty more years. Wearing on cement floors or sidewalks five days a week.

Love this slip on stylish yet casual Mephistos. They are incredibly comfortable, all day. I have found them to go well with a variety of outfits. I will enjoy these for a long time. * note - I found them to run large…I usually wear an 11, but had to return them for a 10, which is perfect. Width seems to run true.

Very disappointed. My husband has a pair of these shoes that were bought a few years ago in a size 9.5. He has worn them almost non-stop because they are very comfortable. I bought a size 9 after reading the reviews that said they run big. They were too small. I reordered in a 9.5 and they are way too big. What changed with the sizing? It's way off. I measured the size 9 against his old pair as well as the 9.5, not even close. They would be a 5 star if not for the sizing issue.

The sole detached from the leather shoe around the sides creating a creaking noise every time I walk in them. Very annoying. This is my third pair so I'm hoping this was just a manufacturing and quality anomaly for Mephisto.

This is my third or fourth pair of this shoe. The fit and size is as always very good except unfortunately this time the shoe sole is separating from the shoe leather. I obviously have a bad pair. This has never happened before and I'm still wearing two other pair for at home casual shoes. I think I just received a bad pair of shoes; an unfortunate manufacturing defect that was not caught.

I have purchased several pairs of this shoe. Great feel, great comfort, very well made. One suggestion would be variable inserts with additional arch support. Great casual/ business casual shoe!

Hubby worn these throughout Europe and this was the only shoe he brought, perfect and no complaints about sore feet.

Wonderful and comfortable as well as stylish. I will enjoy these shoes - feels like they will be excellent walking shoes and can be worn casual or dressed up a bit. The sizing was definitely large; had to return the 11’s for a 10 which was perfect.

This is my second pair of Valters. Mephiso quality is always outstanding.

Ordered down a size after reading reviews. Left shoe had excess room at heel and right shoe was too tight all around. Husband could not walk in them. Very good looking shoe if no size issues.

They just didn't fit quite right.
