The shoe fits well an is comfortable, however it's a bit pricey.

Haven't really worn them yet, but my initial try felt good, and I almost always love Aetrex shoes. Mostly, I'm excited to wear a pair of espadrilles that look so much like a pair I had in the mid-70's! Makes me feel 20 again! ;)

I love the shoes… have them in leopard and would buy 5 pairs if they had them in different colors! I was excited to find the taupe but in daylight, they look lavender so j had to return them! Truly the most comfortable shoes I have ever had!

These sandals are very comfortable and the heel isn't too high. I wish I could have kept them, but I returned them because I have a bunion on one of my feet and the front strap rubbed against it. The strap is adjustable, but when I loosened it, it was too loose so I knew they wouldn't work. Too bad because they are stylish and versatile.

Love the Aetrex Syndey! Comfort is good and love that you front strap is adjustable. The ankle buckle with Velcro makes the shoe very easy to get on and off, no struggling with trying to get the buckle done each time. I'd buy this in other colors if my size were available.

I totally agree with another reviewer - if you normally wear a size 8, you need the 39, not the 38! I am always an 8, ordered the 38 per the size guide, and it was way too small, and also too narrow. When I tried to reorder the 39 it was out of stock and I had to order directly for Aetrex, which was disappointing as I had used a $25 coupon towards the purchase price on Zappos. But these were too nice not to try again! They felt like they'd be really comfortable in the right size. We will see.

Fit was great, however, the bottom of the heel narrows so much that the shoes (with the platform they are 3 inches high) feel wobbly. The bottom of the heel could be a little wider for greater stability. Afraid of turning my ankle so returning theses--too bad they fit great otherwise.

I normally wear a 7.5, which I orderd, and these fit me perfectly. I do wish the wedge heel was a little wider at the bottom, making it more stable--feels like the heels could be a little wobbly on uneven surfaces. I was surprise about this feature, coming from Aetrex. I like having the platform that elevates the shoe height without a high heel, which I can no longer wear.

Ingenious with the velcro, especially for me with super narrow feet. And on a stylish sandal... not a geriatric-style like most velcro sandals. Very cushiony, I could jump up and down with comfort. Haven't worn them yet but hoping to wear them a lot this summer.

How I wish this sandals fitted well! they are very nice n stylist with great arch support, BUT the adjustable strap is the problem! the sticky part is very wide which means if you move it from its initial location to adjust the strap, it will rub on your foot and become very uncomfortable. the initial positioning of the strap seems to be good only for people with narrow foot. so it has to go back.

These are so cute and great arch support. They are a bit more stiff than other Aetrex styles, but hopefully they won’t cause any pain after prolonged wear. Excited to wear this summer!

not good for wide feet

These were too narrow, but true to size otherwise.

Not as comfy as most of my Aetrex shoes and too high of a heel for me. I have found the ones with the "cork" looking material to not be as supportive and wear faster also.

I ordered a size 38 (7.5-8). The wedge fit very nicely on my foot and the design of the sole was comfortable. However, the buckle dug right into my ankle, especially when tightened to secure the shoe on my foot. So disappointed!

Too long and narrow

Cute shoe, but the arch is kind of crazy. It's high, hard, and uncomfortable. And I usually use an arch support, so I'm used to having something extra under my insole. Might be good for someone with a naturally high arch.

These have stiff leather and the arch support is more toward the back and pokes my feet. Uncomfortable to walk.

This style is cute in the leopard print. However, the sandals flip around on my feet. They don’t hug my feet, causing the arch support to hit in wrong places sometimes. I have similar style sandals by Noat and don’t experience this issue. Unfortunately returning these.

Is a cute and comfortable sandal, but oddly, even though it is a wedge, has a very narrow heel and my ankle did not feel secure. Sadly, it has to go back.

I wore these after loving another model by the same brand. These aren’t nearly as comfortable! They wore a pretty good blister across my instep!

I really wanted these to work, but realistically, how do you call a shoe 9 - 9.5? I already struggle with fit between 8.5 or 9. This shoe ran really small.

The foot support is basically glued onto the sole. Sticking out in all directions. Terrible. Too bad, these are going back.

Too small

Way too narrow. There are other aetrex shoes that fit my width perfect. These are not it.
