The footbed is very nice and supportive, unfortunately the strap on the right shoe became significantly longer than the strap on the left shoe. I bought these for a trip to Italy and I was gone 10 days (and did not wear these shoes everyday either). The right shoe strap stretched so far out that I had no Velcro to attach it to any longer. I had to use medical tape to try and secure my shoe so it wouldn't fall or fly off my feet constantly, which was incredibly annoying.I am super disappointed as I had these for such a short time and especially for the price. I would keep that in mind for these shoes, the leather may stretch out too much on one shoe, rendering it unwearable.

I normally wear an 8 1/2 in shoes and that is the size I ordered. These fit very well, had good support, and were comfortable. I wore them inside for a couple hours upon receiving them, and liked the way they felt. The strap between the toes felt comfortable also. I like the fact that the buckle is really Velcro and it can be adjusted easily. I had plenty of room to adjust it and it was secure for me. They look cute on. I have plantar fasciitis and have worn vionics also. These have more cushioning than my vionic shoes/sandals. I’m very happy that I purchased them!

Loved these sandals but the left one rubbed between toes and did not fit the same as the right.

I'm in heaven Do these fit? I feel like Cinderella!!!! My feet are hard to please and I feel total, exquisite instant comfort!!!! So glad you have half sizes in these..I wear a 7 in Vionic sandals...these were too short in a 7 and perfect in a 7.5. The strap closure buckle is hiding a velcro closing!!!! LOVELY..

aMAZing! These are my new favorite sandals! The footbed is the dreamiest thing I've ever had on my foot. The memory foam makes them unbelievably cushy, and the suede microfiber lining is velvety and soft. I can't wait to take my next step in these sandals. I was afraid I wouldn't like the minimalistic uppers, or that I'd find them too unsubstantial and flimsy, but they stay on my feet beautifully--the velcro strap makes them easy to adjust, and if they're a little too loose, I can tighten the velcro a scouche and they stay nice and snug. Aaahh!

I bought these shoes in a shoe store in black and they are so comfortable that I was happy to find them on Zappos in another color. They have the same comfortable bottom wedge style as the Jillian which I have worn for several years now. These aetrex are my workhorse summer sandals.

I have a flat foot, so the support was okay. They have a lot a cushion so it doesn’t put stress on my knees. I love them.

I have never heard of Aetrex shoes before but ordered these during my search for comfortable sandals to stand in all day. They felt wonderful right out of the box! I wore them all day on the first day and my feet/legs never hurt. I love them! I ordered the cognac pair after trying the black. The nice things about these sandals: the cute low heeled wedge, the velcro strap across my ankle (it makes them easy to slip on and off), the cushioned footbed. I'm glad I gave this breand a try!

The best parts about this shoe are 1) the height of the medial wedge which gives better than average arch support and 2) the comfort of the thong. I need a thong that does not intrude on my big toe and this one works. So far, it also feels supple and comfortable. I have tried Rockports and SAS and so far, this shoe has the highest arch.

Amazingly comfortable footbed and arch. I only returned because the leather was a warmer color brown that I wanted, and I felt a little insecure with only the t-strap, like my foot might slip sideways. But I'll try other Aetrex shoes now that I know how comfortable they are!

I purchased this in 8 , rather than the 7 I buy in Vionics sandals. I do wear the size 7 but my foot fills the shoe and it looks better in an 8. Amazing comfort and style..have this shoe in three colors! My feet are hard to please!!!!! Recommend this sandal! I'm online to buy another Aetrex sandal!

With Aetrex, I need an 8 in a sandal, while in Vionics, I take a 7 . An 8 is a perfect fit...a wonderful fit right out of the box. I went from a 7 to a 7.5 to an 8. One pair of 8's had to be returned because strap was bulging on the side . Keep trying, though , because if you get your fit, you'll be in heaven wearing this shoe. From now on, I'll always go for the 8, but buying Aetrex brand is new for me. I love the look of this sandal...doesn't come up too high into the ankle...very flattering. I have to add that my feet are very hard to please...in these sandals, I can walk all day and not be ready to kick them off the minute I'm home!!!!

This is the second pair of these sandals I have ordered. Also ordered in the brown color.....that is how much I love them! Yes, they are pricey-BUT I have terrible plantar fasciitis (having surgery on it in Nov) and these shoes have saved me this summer. I wear them with skinny jeans, mini skirt, capri, shorts. LOVE THEM. One thing I have to say is the first pair I ordered I was a little surprised- the buckle is actually velcro. It stays fastened nicely-just wasn't expecting that. If you are on the fence about getting them-DO IT!!!! I wear a size 10 shoe and that is what I ordered. Fits perfect!

This is the first of many aetrex shoes that I have not liked. The fit was good, but they barely stayed on my feet and the toe thong was very uncomfortable.

These sandals ran short and narrow.

This is a cute sandal, but there is too much foam in the food bed, making it oddly too soft to easily walk.

I liked the Harper style very much especially the relatively high arch and the comfortable footbed and flexible thong. Unfortunately, I am returning these because the right velcro strap comes loose at random moments and has come completely undone at times. As I am walking with a cane post full knee replacement surgery I cannot afford to trip and fall. I hope this is just a defect in this one shoe and not a product wide problem. If it is product wide, this style should be recalled. As to sizing, this is a bare size 11 and the width, while works is not quite adequate for my wide bunions. I would like to see Aetrex make larger sizes and offer at least a few styles in a wider width.

Although the shoe was the right length and there was lots of cushioning, the design of the in-sole/arch pushed my foot forward into the toe strap, which was not comfortable; might have worked better if I went up a size.

Cute sandal! Very comfortable foot bed. Unfortunately, it didn’t work for what I needed.

Had to send this sandal back. Much too loose at toe, allowing my foot to slide around.
