We bought these for our two year old last summer for daycare and they not only survived the season of daily wear, but could have lasted a second season if he hadnt outgrown them. Most toddler shoes disintegrate with little wear but Ive been really impressed with these so were buying them again in a size up.

My almost 2 yo has a great time getting around in these. His feet sweat so much though and they are already starting to smell, can they be washed?

My 3 year old grandson really like these shoes. He can easily put on and off and loves to wear them splashing through puddles. They breathe really well and seem to dry pretty quickly. I do find they seem to run a little bit bigger than the Merrell sneakers and they seemed a bit big for his foot especially without socks, as that is how he loves to wear them. Overall I am pretty happy with them.

Solid water/play shoe. I buy them every year for my now almost 4 year old son. Each summer they are the right shoe for playground/park/water play.

Bought for my daughter's first shoe as we are in Mexico for a month. Did a lot of research and was really excited about this shoe. Followed guides and measured her feet properly many times and compared to the size chart online to make sure I would get the right size. She's 14 months old. Went with size 4. It fits really big. Lots of extra room throughout the whole shoe, length and width wise. She got little blisters on the bottom of her big toes from rubbing in all of the extra room. We aren't using them anymore. I'm not sure how much longer before we can use them, if at all due to how wide they are.

Disappointed. Been getting these for my grandson. The new version that only comes in medium is wider in the heel than when they were made in medium and wide. Seems like they tried to go in between when they decided to only offer one width. They already ran wide when it was a Medium before

I bought these last year and they weren't the best water shoes. They took forever to dry and caused blisters on my kids' feet.

They are sturdy and quite stiff which makes it difficult for my 3 yo to take them on and off by herself. However, maybe they will break in a bit.

Great for playground, water, and sand, but these gave my guy blisters on his heel when worn all day.

We love these shoes for our super energetic, wide-footed almost 2 y.o. He's used them a lot over the last couple of weeks since we got them and I noticed today that they still aren't dry from 3 days ago. I've tried to dry them in the sun and inside but they just won't get dry. I've tried to look for a solution online but can't find anything.

These were much larger than other Merrells that I've bought and had to send them back twice. It's getting too late to reorder at this point. Next year. They seem like nice shoes.

Unfortunately the back of the shoe cut up the back of my kid's heel during the first wearing. I know I'm not the only one with a finicky toddler so I can't recommend these shoes to anyone since she now refuses to wear them and is happy to skip sprinkler days at daycare as a result :(

Was so excited to find these sandals! They seemed comfortable and lightweight and easy drying but unfortunately we didn't get much use out of them. The back of the sandal at the top is curved in way too much making it unwearable for my little girl. Definitely not practical. I was super disappointed because the quality seems great!

These shoes gave my son bad blisters on the backs of both heels. There is rough stitching on the inside of the heel that rubs against his skin. He can only wear these with socks.

Immediately put them on and my son complained about them hurting. I convinced him to wear them to play at a splash pad. It wasn't until after playing for about 2 hours I noticed it was cutting into the back of his ankles. Worn once and won't be able to use again. Last year the water shoes we used was great and had Velcro strap for the back. Recommend bringing these back

My grandbaby wore these last summer and got horrible blisters that scarred his fair skin and I thought it was because they were too big. I bought a 9 and he wore an 8-81/2. so this year we tried again and he just wore them around the house for maybe 15 minutes while i got our snacks ready.. VERY RED AGAIN!! Almost a blister again. I am so surprised because of all the great reviews. But maybe not for kids with skinny feet??! Horrible shoes for us
