The shoe is super light. The sole is flexible and the material is breathable. The single Velcro strap makes it easy for my 3 year old to put on by himself. I had ordered 2 sizes as I wasn't sure how they'd fit - the smaller size fits now and I'll be keeping the larger one for when his feet grow.

This shoe has a great wide toe box and easy on/off for my busy toddler. The rounded heel and rubber bottom provide a lot of traction to prevent slips when wet. Love the shoe overall.

These have been great for my son. The alternative closure opens wide enough to fit very chubby feet. I love that there lightweight and flexible for a new walker. They dry quickly, but are starting to smell. I haven't found any washing instructions online and I'm hoping they can be machine washed safely.

Love this as a fist shoe for my little! Hope he dont out grow them so fast, I would like to buy more or the next size up!

We would love to purchase these in larger sizes!! My 4 year old wears size 11 and it has been impossible to find minimalist/barefoot shoes for her. Older kids need all the benefits of these great styles! We want wiggle room and a flexible sole!

These shoes have been great for my 18-mo old's feet! Love the width and how they allow his feet to really explore while still being protected. They're also great in the water and he can go seamlessly between splashing in a creek back to the land!

Being a Merrell fan Id love to buy these but it seems like you dont sell them in Europe/Sweden. Why?

This is the perfect summer water shoe for little feet! We took ours to the Saco River in New Hamphire thats full of slippery rocks and sand and his footing was great! They have excellent traction and dried overnights!

We have bought these in every size for both my daughter and son. We will never wear anything else! Unfortunately my son just sized out of them. Please make them in bigger sizes!

These are seriously my son's FAVORITE shoes! We had also bought him some sneakers and he still prefers these!

My son wear this shoes and he immediately tell me it hurts, he is only 2 years old. In general I would tell him to try again. And he been trying for 3 days. The third days he literally cry and was trying to hide himself so I dont put him the shoes. Now he just sees the shoes he started to cry. The kids are the most honest person in the world. So now I am pretty sure it really hurts him. Now I am very upset and have to find another shoe for the summer camp. And this is not a cheap shoe for a 2-year-old toddler.

Worth the hype and price! Perfect everyday summer and water shoe. Invest in this one pair!

Immediately put them on and my son complained about them hurting. I convinced him to wear them to play at a splash pad. It wasnt until after playing for about 2 hours I noticed it was cutting into the back of his ankles. Worn once and wont be able to use again. Last year the water shoes we used was great and had Velcro strap for the back. Recommend bringing these back

Bought for my daughters first shoe as we are in Mexico for a month. Did a lot of research and was really excited about this shoe. Followed guides and measured her feet properly many times and compared to the size chart online to make sure I would get the right size. Shes 14 months old. Went with size 4. It fits really big. Lots of extra room throughout the whole shoe, length and width wise. She got little blisters on the bottom of her big toes from rubbing in all of the extra room. We arent using them anymore. Im not sure how much longer before we can use them, if at all due to how wide they are.

We love these so much! We live in a beach town and theyre worn all summer long! I just wish this exact shoe could be made in bigger sizes. My five year old is begging for these in his size, and as a mom I am too!

Size guide is totally off. I measured my son's foot and it suggested a size 9 (little kids) and the shoe was absolutely huge on him! He needs a size 7.5-8. The shoe itself seems to be well-built so I'm keeping the larger size for him to grow into in a year or 2 (might save me money with inflation to keep the shoes! haha!) and ordered a smaller size from Zappos to save on shipping.

I bought these last year and they werent the best water shoes. They took forever to dry and caused blisters on my kids feet.

I find it utterly baffling that merrell doesnt make baresteps shoes past size little kids 10. I first purchased these 3-4 years ago for my now 8 year in size 10 and they were too small much to my disappointment. They are well made, flexible soles , wide toe box for a natural foot shape, easy to put on. Literally everything you look for in kids shoes. I just bought a pair in size 6 for my 17 month old and they immediately become his favorite over his soft sole moccasins. I think the sizing should be expanded to at least big kids size 2 if not size 4. That said Ive been waiting years for that to happen to no avail so dont hold your breath!

Son loves them, theyre wide toed and plenty of space for his feet.

Bought these for my 1.5 year old as a backyard shoe when it gets too hot to be barefoot! The toe box is wide, which is what I was looking for and theyre super easy to put on and take off.
