My husband has a tall torso, so I ordered him a Tall & it still sits above the waist of his jeans. Didn't seem like there was anything "tall" about this coat in that size. Too bad because it seemed like a nice jacket at a much better price than competitors!

This is my second one of these coats. The first one the zipper broke on it after about 2 years. Yes, many people complained about the cheap zippers on them so I think they addressed that. But, what I liked about the coat was the oversized hood. However, people who don't know what real working people need in a coat complained about the hood that it was too big. So Dickies made the hood smaller. Now its like any other average coat and the hood really sucks. It is too small now. Yes, the first generation hood was big but it allowed you to wear PPE under it. Now you're lucky if you can wear a ball cap under it. I know some of the snowflakes out there might like it better but for those of us who brave the elements to work, this change was not an improvement. Otherwise, I like the coat. Dickies, make a 3rd generation coat with a larger hood.

I wish the jacket had a draw string on the hood. Also, I thought it might be a bit warmer than it is. I do realize it is a jacket, not a winter coat. In my opinion 30 degrees is about as cold of weather as I would be comfortable wearing this jacket without layering.

They took too long to be shipped, I got them only to find out that they are big, how do I exchange them for a smaller size???

I bought this for workwear and is nice and thick just really short.

Bought 2 of these 3 years apart. First one had a drawstring hood, found that really good especially when blowing snow sat on tractor. Updated version last year has no drawstring hood. Disappointed but still a good jacket

too short in the body for my son, I will have to send back , my rating will be poor because he wasn't able to wear, but I am ordering another product in it's place

Bought for my husband for Christmas used right away to go shoveling but zipper suck 3. Other then that he loves it Nice and warm .

I would have rated jacket higher if the hood wasn't so large, it will hang over your face if you don't wear a ball cap.

not as tough as i thought already have a hole where the hood connects to the coat

Have been buying this coat for my boys for years as it fits my tall boys well This years coat is different made somewhere else ? Poor quality and it has already ripped in the hood area three weeks after starting to wear(Christmas gift) I guess I will be looking for a different go to brand

Nice and warm . Good fit. Unfortunately the zipper doesn't last. My first jacket the zipper lasted 2 winters. Bought another one and the zipper lasted 2 winters. First jacket got washed second did not. Zipper jumps track. I asked my wife for a new jacket and she bought the same jacket. Already the zipper is sticking.

While I'm sure the jacket would've been good quality, I ordered a 5x and got the equivalent of a 3x. Does not fit, will have to return.

You keep pestering me for a review but how can I review a Christmas present that's not even for me and it's not Christmas yet.

I purchased this jacket a year ago and love the jacket except that the zipper does not function well. It takes fifteen minutes or more to get it aligned so that I can close the zipper.

i bought something with a hood because my head gets cold. the hood on this comes clear down to my nose so i can't see anything either and i guess they weren't smart enough to make some way to adjust it.

The hood is too large, and the wind blows right through this coat. Not really a winter coat, and the quality doesn't seem to be there.

I have been struggling with this zipper since the first time I tried to put it on. I have worn the coat a few times, but can't trust it for really cold weather and have resorted to continuing to use my old coat and am looking for a different new one to get through the winter. It's too bad because I love the sherpa lining, but I won't buy another one.

Very short not very warm for the price you pay not impressed

Wanted to like this but it doesn't live up to the name. Highs: Nice durable fabric. Stands up to playing with my German Shepard with ease. Warm around the torso. Easy on and off. Doesn't hang on your inner clothing like some jackets. Lows: Biggest gripe is the hood is only ornamental if there is *any* wind. Even without wind it doesn't hug you at all letting the cold in. A simple drawstring could have avoided this problem but I still think it needs to be reshaped and sized properly. Even with a ball cap and a heavy sweatshirt hoodie on underneath, the hood blows off with a slight breeze. This make the hood useless where I live on the Outer Banks. The other gripes are quality control. The zipper was rough when I got it a year ago and thought it would wear in but it only got worse. Lastly, there is some sort of crinkly plastic, cellophane or some noisy material that was left or stitched into the jacket up near the chest but only on one side. Every time I take it off to hang it up it just annoys me. Conclusion: Nice warm, durable jacket if you are working in a protected environment or have other means of keeping your head warm. Could be great for the price if they fixed the hood and you get a good quality checker.

The duck fabric on the jacket I received has problems. It is mot smooth in appearance as shown on the web site images but looks like it was slept in a for a month. I have had it hanging up for a week but the wrinkles are still there.I'll be returning it.

I have ordered 2 of these in the last 2 weeks. Both had faulty zippers. The quality of this product has gone down hill tremendously. I will no longer be buying your merchandise, which is unfortunate as my original coat of this same style lasted at least 10 years and was one of the best I have ever had.

The quality of this coat is terrible! The material must be rotten because it tore in the back while taking it off. I ordered the coat big and it still tore. It's a 4X. Also, the sleeves are kind of short for such a large coat. Dickies quality has definitely gone downhill.

Poorly designed and cheaply made. Thin outer fabric that tears extremely easy. Not the like the other"duck" jackets that I'm used to.
