Very light and comfortable shoe. I wear these daily, not sure I would take them on any serious terrain for hiking. I can wear them all day and they have a wider toe box that doesn't squeeze my toes together.

Shoes are very comfortable and have good traction.

This is the 3rd pair of the Fairbanks Low that I've purchased. I've tried other lightweight trail shoes by other big outdoor brands (mostly Merrell, but some others, too) and I keep coming back to these. The combination of quality, comfort and price just make these the best option. They are ridiculously comfortable, lightweight, last way longer than any pair of Merrells I've had (soles and uppers), and they cost 20%-50% less. I've said it before in other reviews; Columbia just makes quality products.

My husband loves these. He wears these to work and finds them comfortable but protective.

This shoe is the shoe of my dreams! Besides the amazing color of olive green, it has so many features that make this shoe the shoe for all occasions! Let's talk hiking. It has amazing grip and a sole that provides the stability to trek over dirt paths, tree roots, and riverbeds. The material of the main shoe body has some flex so even snug fits aren't too snug. Need the shoe for daily street wear? No problem, its design allows for street use without the strange glances. The shoe is breathable, durable, and comfortable. Needless to say this is most likely the best shoe I've ever bought. The only downside is that they don't include extra shoelaces or even have the option to buy a second pair. Other than that, BESTSHOEEVER!

My husband loves these shoes and they look great. He wears them for errands and to walk the dogs.

These shoes are so comfortable and look so nice. I bought them for my husband, and he loves them.

I need a good pair of shoes for everyday wear, but with good traction when the snow falls or if I decide to go off road. These do the job nicely. Comfortable, good tread, and a beautiful black. I have only had them a short time, but they seem for solidly built and will last a reasonable amount of time

Bought these for my 23 year old son, he loves to take his dog on hikes so I wanted to get him a good pair of sneaker hiking shoes and he can not wait to try them out on a hike!!!

Only worn a few times so far, but I like what I see. They are comfortable all day with no hotspots or rubbing. Material feels premium (and breathable) and the construction seems to match. Really enjoy the color scheme.

This is the first pair of low outdoor shoes that I've loved for a long time. Perfect look and totally comfortable.

Comfortable, but make sure you have socks that are higher on the back. I got a massive blister because my socks were riding lower that the back of the shoe. Shoes look sharp.

Nice pair, comfortable. Easy slip on and off. Might buy the boot mode as well.
