Comfortable shoe even with my flat (and wide) feet. Don't go looking to walk long distances on contrete though. One quibble: the glue used during construction is VERY visible where fabric meets rubber

My only gripe would be the arch seems a bit high but very easy to overlook when walking. Very good traction in the dry dusty colorado trails

Love these shoes. They're comfortable enough to wear around all day and they keep my feet dry. Can't ask for much more than something that just works.

I'm in construction and I'm always struggling to find the perfect blend between comfort and durability. These have definitely hit the comfort mark. I've worn them for a few weeks now and I can say the traction and comfort are great. I've worn them on a few hikes and have yet to roll a ankle or feel like the sole is under supported. Just worried about the mesh lasting longer than a few months in my trade. Laces are even and firm support and these just feel natural on the foot.

If you want a well made casual walker then look no further. This shoe has taken a beating on trails and light running. I've used them as my go to show for my daily needs. The shoe design and breathability is what I like most about this shoe.

Great shoes! I have a small farm, work full-time in a casual office, and love walking/hiking. These are my new go-to shoes for just getting through every day. I can wear them anywhere -- they look good and function well, with tread that has definitely works for my needs.

Very Comfortable. The sole color is a little darker brown than the picture indicates. Still looks good.

i'm not a big fan of grey on shoes but these aren't bad, almost silver with the orange trim. very comfy, like wrapping my feet in a pillow. the price point makes them a great get. #emaw

Please take my review with a pinch of salt. I bought these shoes purely for form over function and my foot may be wider than I realize. The shoes were very well made out of lasting material. However, either the tongue is too narrow or the opening of the shoe is too wide. The tongue itself was made out of a big fluffy pillowy material which seemed a little awkward. These two "issues" combined gave the appearance of a pair of skateboarding shoes.
I'd also recommend:

Really like both the look and feel of these shoes. I've worn them for multiple long urban walks - 6+ miles - and they've been comfortable and supportive. Two negatives: First, they stink. I mean literally, right out of the box, they smell like moldy cardboard and industrial rubber. Now, almost 3 weeks since I've had them the smell has diminished enough that I can bring them in the house. Second, the laces are too long. It's almost essential to double-knot them to prevent them from dragging on the ground.

I love the fairbanks boots, so it seemed obvious to order these as a shoe to walk and work in, but the fit is just... strange. The upper feels like it will give way or get holes from sticks or rocks, and there were gaps between the tongue and upper despite it not feeling narrow. The length felt too big but didn't measure too long. All around, just a bummer that it didn't fit and feel like the boots.

Floppier than a quasi-trail runner would suggest. Comfortable initially but not for long walks as there is not much support. Grippy sole, though.

I am only rating them with three stars because of the moldy smell. I really like their shape and they fit very well. They are comfortable to wear. As I mentioned above, out of the box they came with a really strong moldy smell. I left them in the sun for a few hours hoping the smell will fade but, unfortunately, it didn't. I also used some shoe spays, also with no positive effect. I should have returned them but I through away their packaging so I had to keep them.

Very so-so shoe. Gum sole wears out super fast and is too thin for even light hiking. They are not running or trail running shoes either but might work in a pinch for short distances. They are a bit flexible for cycling but this is their best use as they grip pedals well and are easy to walk around town in. They should stiffen them up a bit and market them as a free ride / touring shoe. I would call them a "travel" shoe. Good for walking thru airports and low key fashion wise.

Well designed, lightweight. The size is slightly small compared to other popular brands. I gave a 3 star rating, because the the two shoe laces are two different length.

Good comfortable shoe. Three stars because the lacing system takes forever. They should have put speed lace function into them. Probably the slowest to lace up just right shoe ive ever seen.

Been looking for breathable, comfortable work shoes for a while. These are super comfy and the sole has really good traction. The only downside is the original insoles slid toward the heel of the shoe and climbed up the inside heel, causing the toe are to be uncomfortable. I replaced the original insoles with Spenco insoles and now these shoes are perfect !

I like the fit and material however the loop or the band that holds the shoestrings snapped and broke.

These shoes are comfortable but are a weird fit, especially the design of the sides and tongue. They are quite wide, which works for my 9.5E feet, but the tongue is narrow and thick, and the lacing system means you really have to cinch them down to get the tongue to stay in place, making it look strange. Over time the tongue still tends to slide around. These shoes are anything but sleek and streamlined, though the side view might give you that impression. In reality they look like hiking boots from a top-down view. I was hoping for a more multi-use shoe, from the bar to the trail, but this is not a casual shoe but looks purpose built for hiking. Again, grip is good, comfort is pretty good but the fit is just strange. Buying shoes online sometimes sucks.

Love the look. Was hoping to go hiking with these but my wife's flip flops performed better than these with grip.

NOT COMFORTABLE AT ALL. Most uncomfortable Columbia shoe I have purchased to date. Arch support is minimal at best.
