Super comfortable, very breathable - The ventilation is great, exactly what I was looking for as an AZ resident

This is my second pair of the Fairbanks shoes. I had the mid's and now the low. They are super comfortable and love these shoes. I have a wider foot at they fit perfect.

These shoes are nice and have held up pretty well. They have been comfortable and easy to take on and off.

Favorite for wearing around town and through trails that meander around-town and on loose gravel. Very solid feel. Flexible for various foot positions, decent during winter (best for in between the change of the seasons) and breathable. I like how I can tighten it like a boot to secure around the ankles while still feeling like a hiking shoe. Saying that, they're not the most supportive on a full on sprint while carrying weight. It is quite comparable to Altama's that I sometimes wear on deployments. If Fairbanks came in coyote brown, I'd wear them in uniform too. Too bad Columbia doesn't produce boots for the military even though their crosstown rivals, Danner, does.

I wanted a lightweight hiking shoe for an upcoming overseas trip and this seems to meet my expectations. I thought this actually could optionally be a slip-on shoe, which would have been even better, based on the photos. The photos or text should indicate that it is not, as slip-ons are becoming more common. The cushioning also seems a little thin in the front. Past experience with Columbia shoes helped me guess right on the sizing. I usually take a 9.5 or 10, and going with a 10 was the right call.

Great for hikes (6-7 miles). Lightweight and great traction. Definitely recommend

I unfortunately never received the shoes. I requested a refund and was told I would have to wait up to 7 more business days after already waiting a week for the shoes. I had to dispute charge with bank. Be aware of their return policy ahead of time!

Best shoes from Columbia!!! Will wear in autumn. Recommend 100%

Great for walking on roofs. Only complaint is the top of back portion rubs on my Achilles. It may go away once I have worn them in more. They could also be a little more cushioned for the bottoms of my feet but all together its a good shoe.

Very light and comfortable shoe. I wear these daily, not sure I would take them on any serious terrain for hiking. I can wear them all day and they have a wider toe box that doesnt squeeze my toes together.

I like the low heel and soft sole. It does seem to run small, so order up at least a half-size.

I bought these because I love the Mid Hight Fairbanks shoes. I thought these would just be the Fairbanks but at a tennis shoe hight. Its not, the only thing they have in common is the soul and tread used. They also feel very cheap and even after up sizing they were still small. Would not recommend.

I just purchased my second pair of these because I liked them so much. My first pair held up well after 2 years of wearing them almost daily. Theyre extremely light and very comfortable, easy to clean, and they look good with jeans or shorts. Colombia is a great quality brand that holds up over time. I also own a pair of fairbanks boots, but these are definitely more comfortable.

The toe box is nice and wide, with only a slight drop from heel to toe. Nice color. Rugged sole, although this makes the shoe feel heavy.... 3/4 lbs. I prefer a lighter weight.
