I've been having trouble figuring out what size shoe I wear lately, and this shoe added to my confusion. I usually wear a 9 in dress shoes and a 10 in athletic shoes. I originally ordered a 9 and 9.5 in this shoe to try both sizes. I was surprised when I tried the 9.5 that they still felt short. I ordered the 10 and they felt a little better. They fit close to my foot which as a ballet flat they should. They don't gap around the side of my foot or at my heel. They seem to fit better with no show socks than barefoot. I was surprised to order the 10 because I have a pair of Born boots that I bought this past winter and they are 9.5 so that I can wear really thick socks with them and still have room. Maybe the different style of shoe affects the size. They are very comfortable and cute.

These are my new favorite shoes! I can't tell you how long I've been on the hunt for a cute, comfortable pair of flats with ARCH SUPPORT! I've tried many brands over the years and they've always fallen short, but when I tried these on I immediately knew they were perfect! I wore them all while I was on my feet all day and I didn't have any issues with blistering or rubbing, either. I can't say enough good things about these flats, and I'd definitely buy another pair when these wear out!

It was Love at First Fit! I have several styles of Born Shoes in my closet. I was looking for the style & dark navy color to go with my many pairs of denim jeans. Of course, these stylish shoes will be perfect for my dress slacks as well. My 79 year old feet have their problems...Born has always come to the rescue!

These shoes were buttery soft and very pretty but they definitely run at least a 1/2 too small. They felt so tight that I don't feel that I can properly address how true the width felt or whether or not the arch support was excellent or only moderate. I couldn't take them off fast enough. I love Born shoes and have several pairs of flats right now in size 9. However, the 9 I received in this shoe was so far from fitting that I'm torn between going a half size larger or ordering a full size larger. I don't know what will happen to the width based on other reviews. I'm ordering it again because I really want these to work. I'll cross my fingers and update this review in a few days.

I was so hopeful since I was looking for a ballet flat with a little ‘style’ on the toe. They are quite cute but too wide. Had to send back and keep the plain toes.

They are wonderful! They hug my feet just enough to stay on comfortably and have more sole and support than any other ballet style shoe I've found. Not surprising since these are Bjorns. I'm a professor, on my feet for hours, but I still like to have a cute little shoe once in a while. This does it.

Ordered half size up after reading other reviews--that was right choice. Was looking for a small, light flat, but these are rather chunky looking.

These are really comfortable. I wore them all day when I got them. They are super cute also!

I really wanted this shoe to work for me. Beautiful color and comfortable in most ways. Loved the little bow, too. I wore them around the house and one shoe constantly made noise when I walked. Additionally, they were just too tight around my toes. So, I had to send them back.

The toe box was much narrower throughout than the rest of the shoe, and the arch support wasn't nearly what I expected it to be based off of reviews and a previous pair of shoes purchased from Born. Sadly, I had to return these.

Cute flat for casual Friday! Love, love the gold metallic that’s really like an antique gold. Soft leather, no break-in time, cushy for a flat, and super fit around my bunion. Please add a platinum metallic.

Very comfortable shoe right out of the box. I have lots of foot issues so arch support is very important.

Born shoes are so comfy for me. They have excellent cushioning and none of the pressure/digging in at the heel that lots of flats have.

Very cute and comfortable! I needed a half size up for these shoes (7.5), though with other Born shoes I'm usually a 7.

I love these shoes! I got them in navy and I like that they can pass for black, I didn't care for the black style with the black sole. These have a nice contrast tan sole. I'm a hairstylist and I stand all day, these are very comfortable and gave me the support I needed, totally worth the price. My foot is kind of narrow, and these have the right width for me, not too snug or too wide. I usually wear an 8 and had to size up to 8 1/2 in this style. Would definitely recommend these flats.

I have always loved Born shoes. I will say that I always buy 1/2 size up and that size fits perfectly. The leather is so soft. Born flats are always beautiful.

These are very cute shoes; the color is a nice deep red, almost wine. There seems to be a bit more arch support than in many ballet flats. The overall fit was good -- almost perfect, in fact. But the toe box is a tad small for my foot. The next size would be too large, so I return them with regret.

These fit OK, but the back slips off as I walk in them. Too bad, I really like their character.

Cute shoes, but these felt a half size too long and also too wide. Liked the style, but Born shoes just don’t fit my foot; they’re going back.

This is too shallow in the toe box. And you can’t go up a size to fix it, because it would fall off one’s foot. As for style, the pleated portion is a separate piece that is obviously added on to a plain shoe. At least in the lighter colors, this really affected the style.

Love these shoes. They were comfortable right out of the box. There is a little toe cleavage which is fine with me. The heels seemed a bit wide but that's a usual problem for me and I just added some heel guards and that seemed to do the trick. They may stretch out a bit too much but if they do I'll just a another insole. The arch support is moderate.

Good reviews comfort carry a lot of weight with me! I agree with a lot of Reviewers, that these flats are a LOT more comfortable than most ballet flats. I have not worn then yet, except around the house, but they will be great for wearing with spring/summer dresses & skirts. I could wear them with shorts even. I like the beige color b/c it will make my (fat!) legs look a little longer!

Great
